About this deal

Battery The batteries of mobile devices differ in capacity and technology. They provide the electrical charge needed for the functioning of the devices. Capacity System on Chip (SoC) A system on a chip (SoC) includes into a single chip some of the main hardware components of the mobile device. SoC

Information about additional software and hardware features of the rear camera which improve its overall performance. The Moto G53 isn’t a bad-looking phone by any means, but it doesn’t quite have the wow factor of some other devices on the market. Having said that, I did let out a discernible gasp when I first took it out the box when I realized just how light it was.

Talking about the ultrawide camera, it covers a good FOV but the image quality is average as these images don’t have as much brightness and life as the ones with the main camera. Use this one only if you want to cover a large amount of area in a picture. Results taken on the front camera aren't overly terrible, although I did find I could look pale and overexposed in some instances. I also found that when I came to view the selfie I'd taken, some processing appears to take place on the image, which makes it look more blurred. I toggled the automatic HDR setting on and off, assuming this was the culprit, but the same effect was applied each time. Motorola has equipped the Moto G53 with a dual camera system, comprising a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor and a 2MP f/2.4 macro sensor. While 50 megapixels may sound like an enticing number, it doesn’t tell the whole story and it doesn’t necessarily equate to high-quality images.

The instruction set architecture (ISA) is a set of commands used by the software to manage the CPU's work. Information about the set of instructions the processor can execute. Now, let’s talk about the software. Motorola Moto G52 runs Android 12 with its trademark skin on top. The UI does not have adware and bloatware too is very less compared to smartphones from other brands. The Moto G52 had a few third-party apps preinstalled like YouTube, YT Music, Sheets, and G-Pay. These apps could be uninstalled or kept as per one’s needs. There was no adware thus making the UI a clean experience. While the macro optics has limited uses during day-to-day use, the 8-MP ultrawide lens shines with a large field of view and a good quality relative to the sub-300-USD price range. That being said, the pictures are distorted near the edges and the sharpness leaves something to be desired.Estimated volume of the device, calculated from the dimensions provided by the manufacturer. Applies for devices in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped. The Moto G53 runs the latest version of Android 13 and is kept largely free of any added bloatware. Motorola has its own app onboard, which you can use to customize various aspects of the phone, such as the color theme, the layout of the home screen (how many rows and columns of apps you can have displayed) and which gestures you want to use – if any – to open apps or enable features. Motorola has launched Moto G52 in two elegant colors- Charcoal Grey and Porcelain White. I was loaned the Charcoal Grey variant and the first thing I felt about the Moto G52 is its lightweight build and feel in hand. The device is actually one of the lightest phones in its category weighing only 169 grams. Display The display of a mobile device is characterized by its technology, resolution, pixel density, diagonal length, color depth, etc. Type/technology I experimented using both modes and found Natural to be the better of the two. Saturated was just a little too ‘in your face’ and fake-looking for my liking.

The display menu in settings has various smart options to choose the kind of display you would like. It includes a light/dark theme, font size, display size, screen timeout duration, adaptive brightness, refresh rate settings, and more. Moto G52 Review: BatteryThe Motorola Moto G52 has a 6.6-inch Plastic OLED FHD+ display with almost no bezels. The display size is big which meant large visuals while watching content. The colors on the OLED panel were cheerful and bright, way better than what’s seen on any LCD display. The display also comes with a DCI-P3 color gamut and DC dimming for better display quality and longer battery life. SGS Blue Light certification and Motion Blur Reduction meant long working hours will strain and harm one’s eyes less. Watching content and playing games was much less stressful for the eyes due to these certifications. To put it to the test, I loaded up an 11-hour long YouTube video of various nature scenes, with resolution set to automatic – 720p in this case – and screen brightness set to 50%. I left the video playing on a loop in TechRadar's Sydney office, where lighting conditions were constant, so that the display wouldn’t keep adjusting its brightness level.
