Females Are More Innocent: In contrary to Huggy Wuggy, who sadistically chased the player in Chapter 1, Kissy Missy doesn't try to harm them when she is introduced in Chapter 2. She is benevolent as she activates a lever to open a gate and promptly leaves the player alone afterward. Skewed Priorities: Everything about the Bigger Bodies Initiative is this. Why continue hiring human workers when you can simply make living toy mascots to do the work for Playtime Co. at a better rate. What could possibly go wrong? In Chapter 2, Mommy Long Legs dispatches both Bunzo Bunny and all of the Mini-Huggies before hoisting their corpses up in webs on the ceiling. During one of her chases, she was also shown pulling down an entire ceiling with just one of her hands. Uncertain Doom: He's heavily implied to have been killed with the rest of Playtime's employees, which would count as a Karmic Death considering of how much of an asshole he was.

Quaking with Fear: Displayed in Chapter 2. During Mommy Long Legs pursuit of them, they noticeably get shaken whenever she near them while they hide from her. Card-Carrying Villain: Absolutely. The company was infamous for mistreating employees regularly. It even extended to murder and experimentation as well. A highly sophisticated doll made to resemble a young girl, Poppy Playtime can simulate real human conversation and personality. Mommy Long Legs's name is a play on " daddy long legs", a name of several species of Pholcidae spiders. Some of her characteristics were based on spiders:Cymbal-Banging Monkey: Well, bunny, but it still applies. His cymbal-banging acts as an indicator of how close he is. The louder they get, the lower he is. And strange enough, despite being a rabbit, the scream he makes when killing the player sounds very similar to that of a howling chimpanzee. Possibly to the Crewmates from Among Us, seeing their role and how similarly colored they are to said crewmates. Go Out with a Smile: Played for Horror example. When the grinder crushes her abdomen, she goes limp and her torso snaps off, flopping onto the floor. It's seen that her face reset from pure agony to her default vacant smile at the moment she died. Body Horror: After being trapped in the pit for so long, their body begins to decay. The picture posted by Mob Entertainment shows their corpse has been mutilated. A meta example, but a poster reveals she has a husband (Daddy Long Legs) whom she has a child with (Baby Long Legs). It's implied they were created after the success of the Mommy Long Legs toy.

Ambiguous Situation: Why weren't they investigated and exposed after the sudden disappearance of its many employees? Chapter 3's ARG seems to imply that the company has at least one investigator on their payroll, so a greater connection to the local police might be at play covering it up, but nothing has been confirmed. Just Toying with Them: Going by the way he moves in the vents, Huggy probably could have caught the player in a second flat, instead of walking towards them slowly and ominously in the Make-A-Friend room. The fact that he doesn't strongly suggests he was playing with them, like a cat toying with a mouse.

CatNap/Experiment 1188 A.K.A Theodore GrambellOne part of the Smiling Critters toyline, CatNap has the power to put others to sleep. He and the rest of the Smiling Critters serve as the main antagonists of Chapter 3.

Dangerous Workplace: When the Playtime Co factory was being utilised, the factory seemed like a fairly safe working complex. However as the game shows, the factory had many secret sections where horrifying and unethical events occured. By the time Poppy Playtime occurs, the factory is in a very ruined state with large chasms present within the lower areas of the facility. And the living toy mascots that will kill anyone that enters the ruined complex. Just look at Huggy Wuggy who guards and hunts the Player down in the lobby area in Chapter 1. Friend to All Children: While aggressive with adults, Mommy Long Legs was used to entertain the children because the staff knew she wouldn't act out in front of them due to her soft spot for children. Death by Gluttony: Despite being a big eater, she clearly has her limits if the sound she makes after eating too much is to go by. ThisHe Who Must Not Be Seen: Many tapes and voiceovers of Leith can be heard throughout the franchise, yet he is never seen in the flesh. Damsel in Distress: Before she can give the train's code to the player, she is taken captive by Mommy Long Legs and immobilized in one of her webs for the game's entirety; she is only rescued at the very end of Chapter 2.

Silent Antagonist: Like Huggy Wuggy, the mascot from the factory doesn't speak like the other toys and silently chases the player. Leitmotif: She seems to be associated with the Itsy-Bitsy Spider song. It plays in her trailer for chapter 2, her toy commercial and later on in the actual chapter shortly before the player's last encounter with her. Nice Guy: Seeing as they returned to a place that must hold at best traumatic memories for them at the mere chance they might be able to help their coworkers. Distaff Counterpart: To Huggy Wuggy, though her official bio reveals she is "more than Huggy Wuggy's better half". Gone Horribly Right: Whatever experiments Playtime Co. was running, the various tape recordings and writings, along with the factory's desertion suggests that while they initially succeeded in some regards, it didn't go quite the way they wanted it to.Faux Affably Evil: She may have a whimsical, motherly personality, but she's quite insane and murderous. Despite claiming she will let the player go if they win her games fair and square, she eventually makes it clear she wants them to die, and the games are revealed to be rigged in her favor. Half the Woman She Used to Be: After being getting her lower body popped by the grinder, her torso then snaps and falls onto the floor. Which is then seen being collected by a mechanical skeletal hand...
