About this deal

i honestly wish i hated nash so that i can shit on him and have fun doing it. but i cant because i dont hate him, i dont care about him. he’s just so dull. boring. vanilla. no wait scratch that, vanilla has too much flavour. plain yogurt. thats what he is.

you run, I catch 😈. Gahhhh! I looove this in books (and movies too). Lina can try running from Nash, but he’s gonna go after her. Two of the most pivotal moments in the book had Nash chasing Lina, and she could only submit 🤷🏻‍♀️. I mean. Nash is VERY convincing 💁🏻‍♀️. He can convince me any time 😉🔥👀 Lucy Score never does me wrong! A beautiful and emotional small-town romance that everyone should read. I love that this book discusses social thinking in an age-appropriate way, for example, Naomi is asked about reactions people have to animals deemed more creepy and instead of sharing something that might embarrass someone else, the author gives some space for Naomi to consider the consequences of sharing something personal about someone else. It is great modeling for younger readers. Can my resolve be as strong as Lina’s thighs were and Nash’s resistance to pushing all the way in (😉) during that fight in Chapter 36?🙏🏻 rother. All's going great except for the neighbor girl, who not only hates snakes but seems to have a difficult attitude in general. Still, Naomi is determined to do the best she can.The models of leadership we have inherited are broken. Though deeply embedded in our psyches, superhero models of leadership are destructive: for the leaders who try to live up to them, and for followers seeking cost free change.” – Rethinking Leadership, 2017 the secondary characters stole the spotlight for me. i really enjoyed seeing the Knox & Noami cameos and of course my babies Lucian and Sloane. all my highlights for this book are actually their scenes and september 5 can’t come sooner enough. He bared his teeth and I wondered if I imagined the low, dangerous growl. “You just keep pushing my buttons.” “And you just keep pissing me off.” Sophie Paterson is an educator and coach who has worked in public schools, and was amongst the first to achieve AITSL accreditation as a Lead Teacher in NSW. “I’ve experienced first-hand what happens when people work from a traditional, heroic view of leadership. I’ve seen how it exhausts and isolates the leader, as well as shutting down those around them,” said Sophie Paterson. “In Rethinking Leadership, we emphasise authenticity and collaboration as two keys to a more healthy and sustainable approach.”

Naomi is excited when her mother brings home an exotic snake to heal after a surgery at the rescue. As she helps to care for Beauty, she has an idea—there are snakes in the neighborhood, who might need help too. So, she forms a snake rescue club with the support of her parents, best friend and b I enjoyed it, but not as much as TWNGO. TWHFTL has a very different feel to it, mostly because Nash is dealing with PTSD and depression after what happened at the end of book 1. Most of this book is Nash dealing with the aftermath, all while lusting over his new neighbor, Lina. He adopts the most adorable dog named Piper to help with his mental health, who I loved SO much. I love reading about dogs who have big personalities in books! In my career, I’ve achieved most of my goals as a nude artist, including getting into Playboy, which was a major win. While I’d love to model for another five years, I’m now more focused on my dream of becoming an anthropologist and writer. The identities of Naomi Nash’s parents are likely unknown to the general public. Their affection, encouragement, and direction certainly played a significant influence in developing her personality and enthusiasm for her chosen profession. Their support and faith in her have been crucial to her efforts to achieve her goals. Education

i have a very strong instinct when it comes to certain characters and books in a series and how i feel about them. from the first interaction between Lucian and Sloane in Things We Never Got Over i knew they would be the couple for me in this series. so when Lucy announced that Things We Hide From the Light is actually about Nash (H) and Angelina (h), my excitement for them was lukewarm and that’s exactly how this book turned out to be.

Naomi’s advice to women entering the industry is to “Be yourself. I’ve watched both men and women enter into scenarios with a preconceived notion of how they might be treated, and it actually led to a more difficult time than was necessary. Just be yourself: Friendly, capable, and with a can-do attitude. That sounds corny, but I’ve found that’s what people are looking for.” I’m a huge fan of learning by doing; as such, I’m always on the lookout for training seminars and workshops. Many manufacturers offer training, and it was some years ago I undertook the L-Acoustics System and Line Array Optimization courses, which were really helpful and rewarding. Social media and online forums are also great sources of information and good for problem-solving. There are usually a few people with a few different options to try. There aren’t many opportunities to ‘practice’ mixing a show in a live environment outside of rehearsal time, so when I get the chance, I get into a studio space to really dig into how different tools such as compressors and reverbs work, then you can take that out into the live field with much more confidence.” It wasn’t until recently that Naomi forayed into front-of-house mixing, “Which I have really enjoyed! I still love to occasionally leg it around on a dark stage plugging microphones in, though; I just love the energy of a festival changeover!” Tips and Advice Nash is, at heart, just an absolute sweetheart who's going through a tough time. I loved how he fell first and just went head over heels when it came to Lina. We do get a ton of all the side characters, which made me so happy because we get alllll setup for Lucian and Sloane's romance, which is coming next. I CANNOT WAIT! I know I'm going to be so sad when it's here and I'll have to let go of these town and characters. So as mentioned above, I will carry on with my everlasting hunt for a 5 star Lucy Score book. I have read 7 of her books at this point and have finished each (except for one) with the same "great but not excellent" feeling. So when I finished this, I really tried to think about why none of her books have been "perfect" yet all (except for one) have been "very good."i love a little bit of small town suspense and the plot twists had me on the edge of my seat. this is a slow burn but the tension leading up to it is hottttt and the spice once the burn starts burning was delish. Now here’s the catch—even though Nash and Lina’s relationship was supposed to be the focal point of the story, their romance didn’t really interest me. I did enjoy the story over all (though I guessed who Burner Phone Guy was pretty early on), but I just wasn’t invested in N&L’s relationship.

nash morgan was the town's 'do good' police chief/golden boy who dreamed of getting married and having kids one day. but after the events in twngo, he's a shell of his former self. he doesn't feel much of anything until he sees that his new neighbor is his brother's mysterious ex, lina. lina runs from commitment at all costs but even she can't deny her attraction to nash no matter how wrong for each other they are. but, they might not even get their chance to make bad choices when loose ends from the past start haunting them again. You make me feel things. And after going long enough without feeling anything, feeling something--even if its anger or adrenaline--is better than the nothing." Nash says this, but it honestly could apply to both Nash and Lina. Why can't I find a 5 star Lucy Score book?! Skip to the end for my theories. Otherwise this book was a great read and my review is below.* You’re gonna open your mouth for me.” “Excuse me?” I was going for haughty but it came out breathy. He dipped his head, drawing me even closer. “And I’m gonna kiss you.” “You can’t just expect—” But the man did expect. And damned if I didn’t open my mouth the second his lips hit mine. the moments of levity. If I’m ever kidnapped, I hope to react the way Lina did 😅 I definitely giggled when I know I shouldn’t 🤣Last week, Peter Kaldor, Naomi Nash & Sophie Paterson alongside 100 supporters, launched their new book Rethinking Leadership: Building capacity for positive change. They were hosted by the newly minted Sydney School for Entrepreneurship with special guests Trevor Thomas and Liz Skelton.
