About this deal

There’s much profit to be found in the esoteric salvage secreted aboard these rotting void-barges – and you can acquire it for the glory of your own Hold with five cybernetically-enhanced Cthonian Beserks, five diamond-hard Einhyr Hearthguard, and 10 geared-up Hearthkyn Warriors, all led by a proud Einhyr Champion. Every Ork player always needs more boyz, and this gives you just that plus the new Snikrot model too. (Delayed in Japan) Boarding Patrol: Aeldari Far from being a preening noble hiding up in the Spire, Lady Haera loves nothing more than getting her hands dirty with a masterwork power spear and a phase sword. She’s a terror to face – so make sure she’s on your side when she arrives on Saturday. As with the other Arks of Omen books, this is no different with lore advances along with some new rules for gameplay and factions. Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire

This set comes with three Tyranid Warriors which can be tweaked to match the various foes you might face in your boarding actions. There are then eight Genestealers (a squad of give in-game) that you can sneak through shadowy halls, ready to lunge at unsuspecting troops. Finishing things off, there is also the murderous Broodlord who is a proper killing machine. Two squads of three highly customisable Tyranid Warriors provide an adaptable, formidable core to claim the Ark. Meanwhile, eight fast-moving Genestealers – fielded as a squad of five – act as an insidious vanguard to a towering Broodlord . Boarding Patrol: Necrons is a dispassionate force of mechanised warriors featuring 10 Necron Warriors, three Canoptek Scarab Swarms, 10 Lychguard – who can be built as Triarch Praetorians outside of Boarding Actions – and three Ophydian Destroyers with a Canoptek Plasmactyte. This versatile box provides bodies, ballistics, and big-hitters for you to join the eternal quest to uncover archeotech and fragments of holy STC from the ancient Arks of Omen. I think that the whole concept of Boarding Patrols is weird, and I think it goes along with my feelings of the current Kill Team campaign: it seems like it wants to be Space Hulk for all the factions, but they have never gone full Space Hulk (Terminators vs Genestealers.) I suppose if you bought two of these Boarding Patrols, you could come up with Terminators vs Genestealers Space Hulk battle, but only on a limited scale. Anyway, it seems weird. This is a show you won’t want to miss – and with reveals this exciting, you’ll have no trouble staying up. In fact, we need some time to recover ourselves, so unfortunately there’ll be no Hang Out and Paint this week. The show will return next week! The core of this force is comprised of Necron Warriors, armed with gauss weaponry that is as effective against living beings as it is against mechanical foes. Complementing this ranged prowess are the Lychguard, equipped with hyperphase swords or warscythes. These elite units are versatile, capable of being divided into smaller squads for tactical maneuvering in confined spaces.

Commander Farsight doesn’t just have a book dedicated to him – he’s also got an awesome new model, which is first available in Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire. This powerful assault force contains three Crisis battlesuits and 10 Fire Warriors, accompanied by a small shoal of Drones. It’s a firepower-first nightmare for enemy patrols, and even includes some close combat punch thanks to Farsight himself. Currently, while we know the prices for most of the boxes, we’ll also have all of the new boxes listed, value-wise, for you below! One more thing to note, these are all valued with the updated 2023 GW pricing.

Is the Tyranids Boarding Patrol Worth It?

It's a bit of a shame that the Genestealers are still the older miniatures. It would have been nice to see them updated before getting a set like this. If the rumours are to be believed though, we'll be getting a new roster of Tyranid miniatures with the 10th Edition of Warhammer 40,00 this summer.
