Terza parte: Confusa, turbata, scombussolata. Ne sono rimasta insoddisfatta e mi sono ritrovata a fine libro con tantissime domande ma troppe poche risposte. Ci sono rimasta male, ma non posso spingermi oltre per evitare spoiler. Update 2016: I'm not going to change my rating because I did enjoy this book, but I just want to issue a warning that I was so so disappointed with the ending of this series: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show... Charlie Wynwood and Silas Nash have been best friends since they could walk. They've been in love since the age of fourteen. But as of this morning...they are complete strangers. Their first kiss, their first fight, the moment they fell in love...every memory has vanished. Now Charlie and Silas must work together to uncover the truth about what happened to them and why. Part 3 certainly ties up the loose ends established for the reader in Part 1 and 2, but I also felt the ending was a bit anticlimactic. What had the potential to be a true thriller/mystery did not live up to the hype for me personally.

Todos se mueven en el filo de la navaja por intereses. Desde espias de la CIA que se codea con gente del regimen de Chad hasta presidentes de gobierno manejado por asesores o con aires de grandeza. The last book ended with the disappearance of Charlie and this book predominantly of Silas looking for her while. The rest well… pretty much the same. Never Never is a three-part series she co-authored with Tarryn Fisher and published in three separate parts in 2015 and 2016. It was re-released as one book with three parts in 2023. Because of these unique characteristics, you may have questions about Never Never. This post will answer them!

This book opens with our two narrators having absolutely no memory of who they are, where they live, who their friends and family are... or how they managed to get in this state. Piecing together clues about their lives and their relationship, it seems like the more they discover the weirder everything gets. Who were they before? How did they lose their memories? Do they even want to find out? Part two had some extremely wild points where I was like thinking to myself, “What is going on right now?!?!?” Part two built up a ton of suspense. It allowed you to try and come up with some theories about what was happening to the main characters. Going into part 3 I was really excited to see how it would all finally play out.

Additionally, a fellow student from school may have some unexpected ties to Charlie’s past that neither she nor Silas were expecting.Born on June 5th, 1949 in Cardiff, Wales, the son of a tax inspector, Ken was educated at state schools and went on to graduate from University College, London, with an Honours degree in Philosophy – later to be made a Fellow of the College in 1995. Have you read any books by Ken Follett? I’m discovering his books late with this being my first, but I have a few on my TBR. Silas, on the other hand, is on a mission to find Charlie while dealing with getting to know everyone around him for the second time since the book began. Prima parte: Ero euforica, non avevo mai letto o visto niente di simile. Mi teneva incollata alle pagine e non volevo fare altro se non leggere e andare avanti. Ummm??? Is this an actual joke? How did I FINISH the book and still have no idea what happened??? Why it happened??? Like how do you write a mystery book or whatever this book is supposed to be but my point is nothing about this book was that great. Everything was mediocre, the writing, the characters even the plot the only reason I kept reading was because I was waiting for the punch line ok you got me why did they lose their memories??? But the entire book is the same thing over and over again idk who I am and then the book ends and there’s no explanation of why any of it even happened? What was the FREAKING point?!?!? Colleen, Tarryn listen—— I just wanna talk: 🤦‍♀️ I feel like I must have missed something but idk what lmao. send help. I am flabbergasted. Baffled. Annoyed. I feel like I wasted my time.

I loved his WWII thriller, The Eye of the Needle, this one is more terrifying because it imagines a WWIII scenario with nuclear weapons. It feels too close to home with all the world unrest. It was a bit too political for me.But other than that, every other thing in the story is either a surprise or a mystery and I was gripped from the beginning till the end that I read the entire story for less than two hours. I enjoyed placing myself in the shoes of both Silas and the other characters to try to appreciate how perspective affects the way we think.
