About this deal
Norfolk County Council works with other local authorities nearby to set proposed dates for an academic year - this is known as the Eastern Region Model Calendar. We do this because we feel it is better to have a co-ordinated approach to setting school term dates to minimise the impact on families and school transport providers. One is based on the Eastern Region Model Calendar and the other is an alternative for Norfolk. If this alternativeoption is agreed following consultation,it wouldmean that we would have different dates than our neighbouring counties of Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, mainly at the start of the Spring term. The 90+ plein airartists of Paint Out Norfolk are visiting as part of their annual tour ofcities and towns, coast and countryside. The rolling exhibition of around 100 fresh artworks will be on display each day and 200+ on the final day drawn from 600+ created during the week. Raveningham Sculpture Trail The East Anglian Game and Country Fair at the Euston Estate has rural fun and attractions for all the family including a motocross stunt show, Army parachute display team, the UK horse-boarding championships, and dog displays and races.
