Approximate width of the display. If the manufacturer does not provide such information, the width is calculated from the diagonal and the aspect ratio. Monitor doesn't come with a Display Port cable. This is a necessity if you want to use Gsync with it. The pixel pitch shows the distance from the centers of two neighboring pixels. In displays, which have a native resolution (the TFT ones, for example), the pixel pitch depends on the resolution and the size of the screen. Approximate height of the display. If the manufacturer does not provide such information, the height is calculated from the diagonal and the aspect ratio. Build quality- It's very good looks premium as the screen to body ratio is more. It's sturdy and does not wobble at all. But it's a plastic body, not metal. Metal would have cost you more. metal stand and the base is very heavy and premium.

The static contrast shows the ratio between the brightest and the darkest color, which the display can reproduce simultaneously, for example, within one and the same frame/scene. Information of the number of pixels in a unit of length. With the decrease of the display size and the increase of its resolution, the pixel density increases. DCI P3 is a color space, introduced in 2007 by the SMPTE. It is used in digital cinema and has a much wider gamut than the sRGB.

MSI Optix G271 Features

Picture quality and performance is good considering the price. After some calibration out of the box you can get decently balanced colour rendition and good performance in the shadows and highlights. Shadow performance is decent, though dark areas can appear somewhat washed out. Highlight roll-off is ok, though there are some details lost in very bright scenes. Colour balance leaves something do be desired. Blue and green levels are well maintained though reds are over saturated and blown out. Brightness is good, and I used the monitor in a well lit room without issue, though my only gripe is that the monitor doesn't turn down the brightness enough, with even the lowest setting being very bright for use at night or in dark rooms. Viewing angles are good, though quality does dip. High refresh performance is ok. Using a computer at 144hz is very enjoyable with animations and movement feeling very smooth, though there is ghosting and artifacting, especially around text and the mouse pointer but you can't expect much better than this for the price. Dimensions, weight and color Information about the dimensions and the weight of the specific model with and without stand as well as the colors, in which it is offered to the market. Width Build quality is excellent and the stand is very sturdy. The finish is top notch with matte gray metal & the non-reflective screen. Brightness is great. The VH238 panel I'm coming from is known for being a very bright TN panel, and this monitor is brighter by a noticeable amount. IPS colors are beautiful. I actually really loved the color on my old TN panel, but the colors here just leap off of the screen. That wide color gamut really shows. Deep, rich, and vibrant. I tried to take an iPhone photo showing how rich the colors are, but of course the demonstration is only as good as the camera taking the picture. https://i.imgur.com/lR9fGdY.jpg

The ratio between the horizontal and the vertical side of the display. Some of the standard and widely used aspect ratios are 4:3, 5:4, 16:9 and 16:10. But it's a 1080p display. If you sit too close to the display you can see the pixels and it may cause the screen to look less vibrant. So either you sit a few inches away or look for a UHD 4K display. But you have to pay 3 times more. is really easy for most modern graphics cards. I'm hitting 120-144FPS in many more games than I thought I would with a RTX2060.

Overview

Information about the brightness of the screen. It is measured in candela per square metre (cd/m²). I am very impressed with this monitor after the past few months of use. If you want to dip into high refresh gaming on a budget, the combination of price, 1080p resolution that is easy to run and picture quality make it an easy recommend.
