Et plus souvent qu'autrement, cela constituera un différentiateur majeur entre un parfum de créneau coûteux et son clône, ou un Legend de Mont Blanc et un Percival de Parfums de Marly. Cela explique pourquoi j'aime bien Legend, mais je suis complètement amoureux de Percival. Louis XV enjoyed not only fine perfume, but he also had a love for horses. So much so that he commissioned fragrances named after some of his most prized steeds. Percival holds extraordinarily well, 8-9 hours go without problems, for a so-called freshness fragrance already times ne announcement, the Sillage is above average.

I've seldom been so stunned in a perfume test. This familiar feeling, this smell... you know what it's like! But what is it?! I was just sure it had to be from the '90s. It was fruity in the beginning, paired with lavender and light geranium...I could have gone crazy! At some point I only noticed the scent on the side. Thinking about it has made me weird.I opened the window and heard the birds chirping. Great, the day can begin! Just spray on Percival and out into the beautiful world! If you're looking for a signature scent – this is it! Carlisle was born to be king and has consistently been in our Top 3 fragrances. It's a masterpiece. Percival ist da für mich ein prima Kompromiss. Trotz dem, dass es ein Nischenduft ist, ist er verdammt massentauglich und erinnert an vielen Punkten an andere Düfte - ist für mich jedoch trotz allem ein eigenständiger Duft. Am allermeisten erinnert er mich wohl an mein altes (und leider leeres) Fierce von Abercrombie & Fitch, welches ich, bevor ich zu sammeln und horten begann, ach so sehr liebte. Besonders, weil alle "neuen" Formulierungen nicht mehr viel mit dem alten zu tun haben und vor allem nichtmal mehr 2 Stunden halten. Percival is a fresh, versatile fragrance with a surprising woody base. It's a clean, modern fragrance that is reminiscent of the ocean. We'd describe this as likable, familiar and versatile. A couple of sprays of Percival and you're going to get compliments. Percival is not a 0-8-15 fragrance for me, as it is sometimes portrayed. It just does what it is supposed to do. It's fresh, spicy, aromatic, fruity, and has enough depth to be worn year round, although I prefer it from spring to late fall.

Percival is one of the absolute best fresh scents on the market, in my opinion classes better than zb (the new formulation) of Aventus. He is fresh, he is slightly aquatic and thus very pleasant to the nose, but can score at the same time with a spicy, peppery note. Well, several run-of-the-mill fragrances like Dior Sauvage can do that too, but not only does Percival do it better, it combines the whole thing with a hint of a green note as icing on the cake. A combination that I have not smelled so yet and which gives a great, but quite linear perfume then yet the depth and complexity of a niche perfume and it clearly stands out from the crowd. S'il n'est pas particulièrement audacieux, Percival est en revanche construit de manière exemplaire, avec un flair savant et une rondeur admirable. Même s'il demeure en territoire relativement familier, il vous impressionnera avec des trouvailles étonnantes en matière d'accents qui viennent bonifier un ensemble de facture connue, mais jamais aussi bien exécuté. For a fresh scent, I was quite surprised at how well this fragrance performs. On me, the scent projects out strongly for a few hours and lasts for 6-8 hours total. Occasions and Versatility

Percival ist für mich das Parfum, welches ich auftrage, wenn ich nicht weiß, was ich tragen soll. Wenn ich mich nicht entscheiden kann. Wenn es schnell gehen muss und ich Creed Aventus schon satt habe (ja, derzeit rieche ich es sogar um einiges lieber als Aventus)

Layton has incredible depth. It is one of those scents that after you've experienced it once, you'll from then on recognize it immediately. It begins sweet and then the rich yet complex base notes take over. This is a great year-round fragrance but especially great during the colder months. Wer einen unkomplizierten Wohlfühler sucht, wer gerne wie frischgeduscht und gepflegt riechen möchte, der ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Auch hier bin ich ganz ehrlich, für den Ladenpreis von 200€ hätte ich ihn mir sicher nicht gekauft, aber Online bekommt man ihn für ca. 45% weniger, so hats für mich gepasst.

If you are looking for an uncomplicated feel-good factor, if you like to smell like freshly showered and well-groomed, you are in good hands here. Also here I am quite honest, for the shop price of 200€ I would not have bought it for sure, but online you can get it for about 45% less, so it fit for me. Base Notes:Laotian Oud, Guaiac Wood, Vanilla, Coffee, Sandalwood, Indonesian Patchouli Leaf, Oakmoss, Amber, and Pink Pepper During this period, King Louis XV's love for fine fragrances flowered into a “golden age” for men's perfume.

This powerful, long-lasting fragrance starts sweet, then turns spicy before settling into a rich, vanilla-centered aroma. PdM fragrances have not really convinced me yet, but this is due to my personal taste and not to the way they are made. Only Galloway I found pleasant, although this one also gets a somewhat "sneezy" impact in the drydown. Grob geht Percival in die Fierce-Richtung, ist aber eigenständig. Man bekommt einen frischen Duft mit einer total gefälligen Würze. Nicht zu stark, sondern sehr gut abgestimmt zu der Frische. Dazu etwas frischen Lavendel und dezente Früchte sorgen für einen facettenreichen Vibe. Auch die schöne Koriander-Würze wie bei meinem geliebten Dior Homme Eau ist hier aktiv. Für mich absolut keine Störfaktoren und von vorne bis hinten harmonisch. Zum Dry-Down wird er natürlich sanfter und etwas holziger.

Est-ce un parfum révolutionnaire? Pas du tout! C'est un parfum de facture relativement conventionnelle en matière de fraîcheur et de netteté, qui n'est pas sans rappeler certaines formules courantes dans la lignée des fragrances "bleues", fort populaires chez les designers qui les vendent pour généralement beaucoup moins cher que Percival. Since it has snowed again in our Tyrol in the last few days, although we are heading towards spring and this fact has annoyed me a bit, I was very happy when I saw the blue sky and the sun this morning. Percival ist einer der absolut besten frischen Düfte auf dem Markt, meiner Meinung nach um Klassen besser als zb (die neue Formulierung) von Aventus. Er ist frisch, er ist leicht aquatisch und somit sehr angenehm in der Nase, aber kann gleichzeitig mit einer würzigen, pfeffrigen Note punkten. Gut, das können mehrere Allerweltsdüfte wie Dior Sauvage auch, doch nicht nur macht Percival es besser, sondern vereint das ganze als I-Tüpfelchen noch mit einem Hauch von einer grünen Note. Eine Kombination, die ich so noch nicht gerochen habe und die einem tollen, aber recht linearen Parfum dann doch noch die Tiefe und Komplexität eines Nischenparfums verleiht und es klar von der Masse abhebt.
