Atlus asks that all streamers include a spoiler warning on any videos concerning the game so that everyone is aware of the stream's content. Seems fair enough. Still, the huge pro of this version is the fact that now you can play the game on the go with Switch and that is the best way to play such a long game, IMHO, and if you're into modding then there is PC version for you which is absolutely worth getting along with Switch version, for that reason alone (i.e. you can restore some cut content or uncensor some dialoges as well, not to mention other stuff). Started playing this right after release on ps4, but that was around the time I just no longer could stare at a tv playing a game, tv was always weird to me as I grew up without mostly, and Game Boy was way cooler being portable and I could find a comfortable spot and position, and play a game, and change spot and position whenever I wanted to. I could go to the toilet and take my game with me. So hopefully, when I can get it at a sale eventually, I can fully enjoy what it seems to have on offer this time. Played some SMT and Persona games already on 3ds and Vita (my favourites are the Etrian crossovers though) and the spin off on Switch TMS on Wii U, so I know I'll most likely enjoy it. And definitely not getting this version, the "need" to collect that I once had is dead. I still like some artbooks, steelbooks, figurines, statues, but unless it's something amazing or at a very decent price, I don't even WANT that stuff anymore.

CGMagazine gave Persona 5 Royal a score of 9/10 and called it "one of the best Switch ports to date":But wait, it gets more specific. Atlus asks that players do not stream the final section of the game, meaning no videos are allowed of the ending.

I never been into Japanese games much, but i like rpgs, adventure style of it, turnbased combat, and realistic mature themes. One of the best gift for Christmas is not only a good game but also a good steelbook of a good game for collection. Persona 5 base game on PS4 was my first and only foray into the series and it was an unquestionable joyous pleasure. As it seems is the case with a lot of other Atlus offerings the game is split between two genres, this time- JRPG & Life Sim. Also the case with many Atlus games, Persona 5 just oozes endless style, flare, polish and pizazz. The visuals, music & content are all phenomenal. Akechi’ s Briefcase Bag - a replica of the boy detective Akechi’s signature briefcase, now a 15” bag with a logo on the front.Regardless, it's worth a little look — it might just steal your heart, after all. The game itself laid down the gauntlet, actually. Persona 5 Royal’s theme song, Colors Flying High, ends with the phrase “green or blue, red or white, you can’t lose with your colors flying high.” And so it is. Whether you play it on Xbox or PlayStation, Switch or PC, Persona 5 Royal is an utter masterpiece, and you’re in for one of the best games ever made no matter how you choose to play it."
