About this deal

Goodwin’s Court is the land that time forgot: the gloomy light that filters from above illuminates a narrow alley of slightly-bulging windows and Victorian gas lamps.

If you’re looking for a place that is both beautiful and colourful, then Chinatown is the place for you. Located in the heart of London, this neighbourhood is the perfect spot for some Chinese delicacies.

7. Kelly Street

London is a city full of history, culture and many must-see tourist sights. It’s no surprise that so many people are attracted to explore it every year.

Another must on this compilation of beautiful places in London is Tower Bridge. Tower Bridge is one of the most recognisable landmarks in London, and is gorgeous from whatever angle you decide to look at it.Nearest stations are London Bridge and Shoreditch. 17. Circolo Popolare, Fitzrovia Credit: Circolo Popolare Can you believe that I’d never had the chance to see how marvellous it is inside – until last year that is. The shame. I loved all the interactive displays and games they had (who am I kidding, I still love them now). Even if you’re not a fan of natural history it’s still worthy of a visit. It’s a little known fact that the Guildhall, the ceremonial centre for the City of London corporation is the only non-ecclesiastical stone building of the Medieval times to survive.

Regent Street is one of the most popular shopping locations amongst West London streets and offers tons in the way of shopping and dining. Of all Christopher Wren masterpieces dotted throughout London, the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral may well be the architect’s most famous project. But what many don’t know is that just nearby, there are the remnants of another of Wren’s ecclesiastical buildings… The Old Royal Naval College is the main architectural centrepiece of Greenwich. Inside you will find the famous Painted Hall, a Baroque masterpiece known as Britain’s “Sistine Chapel”. Of all the beautiful places in London on this list, Richmond-upon-Thames, once a village away from the hustle and bustle of London life in its own right, is where you should go if you want a break from the city. Home to plenty of pretty flower shops and stunning properties such as the National Trust property of Ham House, Richmond is filled with small pubs, and secret green gardens.Hartland Road is located in Camden Town, or Camden, a district made famous for its markets and fashion scene. It has a unique and distinctive design, with its metal cables and glass sides being very recognisable amongst Londoners. I used to work just around the corner from Hay’s Galleria, and I loved walking past it every day. It’s one of those beautiful places in London that not many people know about. The beautiful Hay’s Galleria in London – photo by Teresa, author of Brogan Abroad Final thoughts on the most beautiful places in London To me, Camden Market is beautiful. Others might describe it as quirky, edgy and chaotic, but I find the liveliness and diversity of Camden Market beautiful.

The vibrant and pretty area of Notting Hill is all pastel coloured houses and candy façades. Every weekend, an outdoor market along Portobello Road is said to be the largest antiques and vintage fair of its kind in the world. Some of the houses are built in the traditional Victorian style, painted white with the columns by the front door. Others have gone for a more distinctive pastel coloured façade. Here they also do activities such as sunrise yoga. It’s a bit different from the other spots in this guide, but in my opinion it’s one of the most beautiful places in London. Enjoying the sunset over London from Sky Garden St Dunstan in the East For some people, the idea of spending any time in a cemetery outside of attending a funeral or paying respects at a grave, is lunacy. Located a few streets over from the world-renowned Portobello Road market, Biscuiteers is a go-to destination for all sweet tooths. As its name suggests, the café and cookery school is dedicated to all things biscuit related and is a must visit on any coffee shop tour of London. Nearby, Farmgirl Café serves the prettiest speciality hot beverages in the capital and is also worthy of a visit.
