Like its predecessor, the Performance Audio 40i utilises Ferrite insulation to absorb signal noise for a cleaner delivery.I really would try to borrow a few different cables if I were you and try them out with your own set up. If you can't hear anything between them, then fine. In my experience though, makes more of a difference than you would think.
