About this deal

Fitted with easily tilted foam-coated handlebars, the bike offers further positional adjustment with its dual-adjustable soft saddle and versatile pedal straps. Allowing you to create the optimal riding position, the GB50 is designed to promote correct riding form for more effective and safer home cycling. With integrated heavy-duty transport for ease of movement, the exercise bike also features four points of simple floor-level adjustment, creating a more stable and solid foundation wherever you train. The console itself is well organised and logical without too many buttons which makes controlling this bike simple. The addition of a tablet holder and a USB charging port is a really nice touch, though don’t fall into the same trap we initially did and think you can connect your device to the bike – you can’t. The USB is purely for charging purposes but this does mean that you can take nice long workouts while watching your favourite shows or reading a book without worrying if you’re going to run out of power. Oh and there’s a water bottle holder. Safety Information: Children under the age of 12 are prohibited from using this machine, those between 12yr-18yr are to be supervised at all times while in use. Another piece of good news is that both the saddle and handlebars offer plenty of scope for adjustment. What’s more, the saddle is well-padded and comfortable. The LCD screen is large and clear. This is handy for both reading your statistics and following along with the pre-set programs. You set the resistance on the console. We’re not keen on this, but we do like the 32 levels. I’d recommend this bike every day of the week. It has a good quality build, good features and an incredible price tag.

The flywheel weight is 6kg, the maximum user weight is 110kg and the seat can also be adjusted both vertically and horizontally - there are also the pulse sensors integrated into the hand grips as standard. The bike stopped working after 3 weeks with a buzzing noise and the pedals would not turn. Really disappointing and i wont be buying another reebok again. With pedals, your main decision is whether or not you want cleats. Cleats are used by pro riders to make the most of every stroke. Basically, using cleats means that you’re powering the bike with your upstroke as well as your downstroke. For more advanced fitness enthusiasts, the GB50’s solid 9 kg flywheel weight ensures a challenging, smooth and quiet cycling motion to give you a comfortable, fluid riding experience

Exercise Bikes We Like

As has become the norm for upright bikes at this sort of price point, there are a number of adjustments you can make to get the right position on the bike before starting. The seat has adjustments for height from pedals and distance from handlebars. The handlebars also adjust so it’s easy enough to get a good riding position. Though, soft as the saddle is, if you’re not used to exercising it might take a week or so to get over any initial saddle soreness! Our logic is simple. A lot of people are really tight for space and/or cash, but still want to get a decent home workout. This mini exercise bike has a tiny price and a tiny footprint. It can, however, still give you a pretty reasonable workout. As a bonus, you can use it for your arms as well as your legs. The step up in quality is noticeable; the bike itself is well manufactured, and it was much easier to assemble. Once assembled, the bike weighs a fair bit, so it is advisable to assemble it where it will eventually be used.

Light enough to move around your home using the integrated transport wheels and solid enough to take a maximum user weight of 120 kg (approximately 18 stone) thanks to the GB50’s premium build quality Some exercise bikes use magnetic resistance. Magnetic resistance brakes are easier to maintain than friction brakes. They can also be set more accurately. Unfortunately, the price of this accuracy is a slower response and a loss of power. Some of the design aspects aren’t to my liking. While subjective, I have to say if I missed clothes while hanging some up to dry then I guess I could use this has a second choice; the handlebars don’t compliment the frame and feel a little too tall to me. I can discern no difference in the various difficulty levels, either for the program or levels within it. Taken ages to get Reebok tech support to reluctantly organise an engineer visit (still to happen). The bike creaks horribly while in use. The menus are very confusing and tech support "helped" me by suggesting I go to step 6 in the manual first. The manual is of very little help. I'm really disappointed with this bike and had expected a massively better one for the price. The term "dimensions" means a bit more than just size. It also means the length to height ratio. In other words, upright bikes and mini steppers only take up a minimal amount of floor space in use. Recumbents need a lot more space. Supported weight This review will take a look at what each of them has to offer plus the pros and cons associated to each and there will be a wide range of price ranges to work with including lower priced basic options and higher priced premium type options. Summary Table

Mini exercise bikes are essentially just a pedalling mechanism. This means that, really, they only work the lower legs. On the one hand, this clearly limits their usefulness for serious exercise. On the other hand, if you just want light exercise and/or are short of money/space, then they are still a pretty decent option. Dimensions Combining a powerful and intuitive control console with a robust 9 kg flywheel, the GB50 One Series Bike delivers home cycling workouts that are both effective and tailorable. Fully equipped for any type of workout, the GB50's smooth rotation allows you to create a consistent cadence across both high-intensity and longer endurance workouts. Sitting alongside the flywheel are 32 levels of electronic resistance and 12 pre-set motivational workouts, pushing your ability straight out of the box. With user-defined, HRC, recovery and three target programmes included, the GB50 is primed to deliver demanding home cardio sessions.excellent product and the customer service is excellent, had a slight problem they came out and fixed it without query! would recommend ! LCD DISPLAY FUNCTION : The fitness bike has a training computer with LCD display that can measure time, scan, calories, speed, distance and heart rate; There is also a hand pulse sensor on the handlebars There are 8 levels of manual resistance to work through depending on how hard you want to work and both the saddle seat and handlebars are adjustable to suit your individual needs. Please note that the saddle height can be adjusted from between 66cm up to 90cm. Similar to the Jet100 above, this time we have reviewed the Jet100S which is slightly different in terms of features it can offer but the price tends to be considerably lower also making it a lot more attractive for many buyers.

Both my partner and I agree that Reebok must have done their research as 9kg’s feels about right for both of us. Self-levelling pedals and adjustable handlebars

The seat itself is adjustable both vertically and horizontally which is great for our home as I am much shorter than my partner who would need to both raise and slide the seat for comfort. 9kg fly wheel with electronic resistance There is the expectation of a mid-range model based on price and looks, but there are eye-catching elements to the specification that suggest a good workout.
