About this deal

We service a wide range of customer from travel enthusiasts, city workers, athletes to those with an active lifestyle. This said, electrolyte powders rarely are too complex. A little salt, a few electrolytes, job done. However, I always like to see Hux do well, and they really have brought out something good with Hux Hydration. The drinks industry has always been a very heavy consumer of plastics and emitter of carbon. Since our inception one of our mission statements is to "Be The Change" and to set a new benchmark within this market. This sounds good – it is good, to a point – though there is a limit to how much your body needs or can absorb. It’s always better to go slightly over this point, to ensure you’re getting as much as your body can, but this seems a little overkill. And it only costs a couple of quid for a month’s supply. It’s quintessential MyProtein – affordable, good quality, with a great degree of utility.

We analysed over 100 competitors and found that they had, on average 1.4 flavour offerings. The Revival range includes 6 premium flavours: There is one wrinkle, however. Nature’s Truth claim that their lemon and citrus flavour is a lovely, tasty alternative to the kinds of soft drinks plenty of us down at the gym. It is a good alternative, true… but the taste leaves something to be desired. Dextrose Anhydrous, Citric Acid Anhydrous, Colour (Beta Carotene), Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), Sodium (Sodium Chloride), Tri Sodium Citrate, Flavours (Natural), Potassium (Potassium Chloride), Vitamin B5 (Calcium D Pantothenate), Silicon Dioxide, Sweetener (Sucralose), Vitamin B3 (Nicotinamide), Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) Vitamin B1 (Thiamine Mononitrate), Folic Acid They have done the same with their electrolyte powder. It contains everything you would want it to.Hydration tablets, electrolyte pills and other rehydration supplements are nothing new, in fact they have been around since the 80s. At the time they were first introduced they did a pretty good. However since then technologies and our understanding of the human body have advanced significantly, and whilst many industries have adapted with the times the rehydration market remained stagnant. In fact a study conducted by Medicare Europe found that a tablet can take anyway between 20 - 30 mins to be broken down and that only 30% of the ingredients are absorbed.

In the time since they first launched there has of course been significant advancements in science, technology and our understanding of the human body. Revival was developed with this new information in hand. One of the problems with tablets and pills is the time it takes our bodies to break them down, it is estimated that it can take anywhere between 20-30 minutes, as Revival is water soluble the time is faster, much faster in fact. Assimilation from a water soluble supplement can take between 1-4 minutes, thats up to 14 times faster. It is one of the reasons why we say we have a "rapid action" formula. Secondly, the level of absorption in traditional formats is much lower, estimated at around 30%. Revival formula allows for up to 98% absorption of active ingredients. As such our formulation is not only 14 x faster but 3 x as effective.

Revival was born out of respect for the fact that three quarters of the western world’s population is dehydrated without really being aware of it. As a tiny drop in hydration (think 1% or thereabouts) can greatly diminish your cognitive and mental wellbeing and physical performance, this is a big deal.

It combines electrolytes, minerals, nutrients, and a really quite nice flavour to give you fast acting relief and lasting energy. SOS even go so far as to claim that it’s more effective than an intravenous drip, though I’ve not been able to verify that! Great everyday hydration. I have been using hydration supplements for a number of years now, typically the fizz and drop electrolyte tablets but there is a noticeable difference since making the switch to Revival. No delay, better tasting and faster hydration" If you feel any of the following symptoms it may be a sign that you are dehydrated and could benefit from taking a hydration supplement I wouldn’t go this far. The taste isn’t great, but it’s not quite unpalatable. And plenty of people get on with it OK. Just beware, it may not be for everyone. You get an awful lot from their formula, including very workable amounts of a range of electrolytes, such as sodium and potassium in various forms. You also get a solid vitamin complex, including vitamins C, B1, B3, and B5, as well as folic acid. It’s an incredibly effective recipe. As well as providing a physical edge are powders can be used to promote mental performance, and we have people using for focus concentration and as a source of natural energy. In recent years we have seen many people make the switch from energy drinks and coffee with fantastic results. We also see strong usage among those with an active lifestyle looking for a recovery supplement. Like with anything we are all different, some of us will naturally retain water better, some will absorb at a faster rate, some will sweat more/ less than others, the list really goes on. But it comes down to us all being individuals with specific needs.

Any questions we haven't answered?

This is where Revival was born – think about its name, after all, and you see a desire to breathe new life into a flagging populace. Dextrose Anhydrous, Citric Acid Anhydrous, Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), Sodium (Sodium Chloride), Potassium (Potassium Chloride), Flavours, Vitamin B5 (Calcium D Pantothenate), Colour (Beta Carotene, Copper complex of Chlorophyll & Chlorophyllins), Sweetener (Sucralose), Tri Sodium Citrate, Silicon Dioxide, Vitamin B3 (Nicotinamide), Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) Vitamin B1 (Thiamine Mononitrate), Folic Acid It’s available in three flavours, all of which are great. Our preference being the Watermelon – but all are great and do the job perfectly. Environmental factors such as climate are also likely to have an overall bearing on our water profile. Typically, in hot countries, there is a greater risk of loosing water through sweat as such there will be more of a requirement to replace fluids. Let’s end on a good one, with Nature’s Truth Electrolyte Powder. It’s another very generous supplement, giving you a fantastic blend of calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorous, sodium, and chloride, which should collectively aid in overall hydration and wellness whilst also contributing to healthy muscular function.
