New roofing felts (or similar materials) can be highly porous and friable (because of the green/grey stone flakes on the top), they also contain high levels of bitumen

It is recommended that these types of new surfaces are allowed to weather for a minimum of 6 - 8 months before the application of Roofix To ensure fair pricing, we split colours into ‘Price Bands’ to group together similar priced colours.
