A number of alternate Saturn vehicles were proposed based on the Saturn V, ranging from the Saturn INT-20 with an S-IVB stage and interstage mounted directly onto an S-IC stage, through to the Saturn V-23(L) which would not only have five F-1 engines in the first stage, but also four strap-on boosters with two F-1 engines each, giving a total of thirteen F-1 engines firing at launch. [89] If humanity gets hold of a way to produce abundant antimatter before we colonize the asteroid belt we will kill our own species; all our eggs in one basket, as Hawkings says. Though it may seem weird to some as its a newer and more powerful console, a Dreamcast mini would be much easier and cheaper. Many low cost devices can do a decent job at emulating it, as the hardware is a lot more similar to modern hardware (Saturn had multiple different gpus & cpus running at once). Sure, the Megadrive mini's board isn't quite up to the task, but there are off the shelf system on chip hardware that can do it, or if they want to just go the route of developing their own unique hardware, its not that much of a step up needed. In fact, I'm fairly sure that the hardware they used in their own Astro City Mini would run it, and that was reasonably priced... System 32 and Model 1 are more complex to emulate than DC. So I think we could get a Dreamcast mini far sooner. a b "Launch escape subsystem" (PDF). NASA. Archived (PDF) from the original on February 20, 2021 . Retrieved October 7, 2020.

During Apollo 11, a typical lunar mission, the third stage burned for about 2.5 minutes until first cutoff at 11 minutes 40 seconds. At this point it was 1,645.61 miles (2,648.35km) downrange and in a parking orbit at an altitude of 118 miles (190km) and velocity of 17,432 miles per hour (28,054km/h). The third stage remained attached to the spacecraft while it orbited the Earth one and a half times while astronauts and mission controllers prepared for translunar injection (TLI). Another one at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, made up of S-IC-T (test stage) and the second and third stages from SA-514. [106] It was displayed outdoors for decades, then in 1996 was enclosed for protection from the elements in the Apollo/Saturn V Center. Many of the other moons are small: 131 are less than 50km in diameter. [105] Traditionally, most of Saturn's moons have been named after Titans of Greek mythology. Titan is the only satellite in the Solar System with a major atmosphere, [106] [107] in which a complex organic chemistry occurs. It is the only satellite with hydrocarbon lakes. [108] [109]
