Description

There is not a huge difference between the two products in terms of the moisture agents and the effectiveness of protecting your skin from UV rays. However, the two colors of the Skin Aqua Tone Up UV Essence, lavender and mint, are made for different skin types. While lavender is mainly for anyone to use, the mint green version is more for those who may have redness to their skin caused by acne, pimples, or other skin problems. The first main difference is that while TiO2 gives a nice broad spectrum protection, Zinc Oxide has an even nicerand even broader spectrum protection. It protects against UVB, UVA II, and UVA I almost uniformly, and is considered to be the broadestrange sunscreen available today.

Skin Aqua Tone Up UV Essence (Lavender) is a “toning up” sunscreen or sunscreen that has a “brightening effect,” that is SPF50+ / PA++++. Its lavender color is the key to the “brightening effect” that would help even out any skin tone. The lavender color, which is made of two colors, “blue” and “pink,” are important factors that help give the skin a natural-looking finish. The “pink” would help bring out a lively “blood-like” color, and the “blue” would help give a transparent effect. Also, the sunscreen has a pearl-like look, making the skin look glowy naturally. Those who religiously apply a sunscreen daily throughout their youth will reap the rewards when their skin looks more youthful and radiant than all their peers as they age. As the old adage goes, prevention is better than cure. I’ve been using the Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Gel for quite a few weeks now and I can say I like this sunscreen a lot. It takes less than 30 seconds for the product to absorb and create a film on the skin. In this way, one can know if the sunscreen is ready for protection or not. However some sulfates are so good at their job, they can wash off your skin’s own natural oils that keep it moisturised and protected which can lead to dryness and irritation. It is possible for cosmetics to contain one of the suspect ingredients without it appearing on the ingredient list due to it not reaching the concentration threshold to disclose it and cosmetic manufacturers choice to not disclose it. Includes key ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, Vitamin C, and “Pure Nuance Complex” (passion fruit, hydrolyzed prune, and chestnut rose extract) I honestly thought that it wasn’t going to work well with my skin (or any type of skin) because it seemed like it had a white cast at first glance. However, as I started spreading it onto my face, I noticed that the product was more on the transparent side! I was surprised to see how nicely it blended with my skin without it looking too unnatural. It was also very surprising to see that it instantly made my skin look brighter and healthier! The sunscreen comes in a white big bottle with a golden cap and squeezy tube. The product is great if you are looking for 3 finger application as it disperses only the right amount of product. It does look like cheap plastic but I don’t mind given the fact this is so affordable even after customs and such. As a result, please note this is only an experimental label that can be best used to possible identify problematic products you have used in the past. It is in no way a perfect identifier nor a predictor in whether or not it will exacerbate or cause fungal acne. It will continue to be worked on as more information and research comes to light. There has been some healthy controversy surrounding them due to a few studies finding paraben presence in breast tumours and breast tissue. However, the majority of the scientific community have deemed these findings non-conclusive due to the limitations of these studies. Those with oil skin may understandably be concerned that a sunscreen may make their skin worse. That does not however, need to be the case. In fact, with the right sunscreen your skin can look better than ever before. Our favourite sunscreen for those with oily skin is without a doubt the Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF42.At SkinCarisma, we've done our best to identify as many ingredients as possible but note the fungal-free label may not be 100% accurate due to the complexconditions and combination of ingredients that malezzeria can thrive on. The Silicone-free label only includes the most common Silicone ingredients that have indentified been reported by individuals that could potentially cause issues. To make mineral sunscreens more cosmetically appealing, the particles can be micronized (made smaller)," says Dr. Ip. "There is still some [discussion] about how small is too small, and whether nanoparticles can again be absorbed by the bloodstream, so I suggest my pregnant patients avoid them." Avoid irritants, especially if you have sensitive skin. There's still a lot of support for avoiding parabens following the better safe than sorry route. If you do we completely support you! Those with sensitive skin should pay even more attention to the type of sunscreen that they apply to their skin. With already fragile skin it is so important that these people apply the right type of protective cream to their face. At K Beauty UK, our favourite sunscreen for those with sensitive skin is by and far the COSRX - Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF50 PS+++. Calming and restorative, this is the perfect sunscreen for those with sensitive skin.

There is also an often cited Japanese study that made patch tests with lavender oil for 9 years and found a huge increase in lavender oil sensitivity in 1997 (from 1.1% in 1990 to 8.7% in 1997 and 13.9% in 1998). This was the year when using dried lavender flowers in pillows, wardrobes, and elsewhere became fashionable in Japan, so it seems that increased exposure to lavenderresults in increased risk of sensitivity. Apply as the very last step in your morning skincare routine. Take an appropriate amount onto the face, and gently massage in until fully absorbed. INGREDIENTS This product has excellent UV protection, and my skin did not show any signs of skin redness or burns that were affected by the sun!If you've ever used a skincare, makeup or beauty product that's made your skin look and feel smoother tempoarily - it's likely contained Silicone. They are a popular class of ingredients found in cosmetics due to their smooth, soft, easy-to-spread and smooth properties that help creates an artificial layer/barrier on top of skin or hair (commonly found in conditioners). These include: Amodimethicone, Behenoxy Dimethicone, Bis-Aminopropyl Dimethicone, Cetearyl Methicone, Cetyl Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Dimethicone Copolyol, Dimethiconol, Methicone, Phenyl Trimethicone, Phenyl Trimethicone, Stearoxy Dimethicone, Stearyl Dimethicone, Trimethylsilylamodimethicone. It'salso highly stableand non-irritating. So much sothat Zinc Oxide also counts as a skin protectant and anti-irritant. It's also often used to treat skin irritationssuch as diaper rash. The disadvantage of Titanium Dioxide is that it's not cosmetically elegant, meaning it's a white, "unspreadable" mess. Sunscreens containing Titanium Dioxideare often hard to spread on the skin and they leave a disturbing whitishtint. The cosmetic industry is, of course, really trying to solve this problemand the best solution so far is using nanoparticles. The itsy-bitsy Nano-sized particles improveboth spreadability and reduce the whitish tint a lot, but unfortunately, it also introduces new health concerns.

Something I was most concerned about was applying concealer because I’ve had experienced sunscreen clumping up and making my makeup look cakier than it did before. However, applying the concealer to my face looked and felt no different from using an ordinary primer! Also, because of the pearl-like look of this sunscreen, my skin looked glowy as well! Pityrosporum Folliculitis/Malassezia folliculitis or simply known as Fungal Acne is a persistent acne-like condition that commonly responds poorly to traditional acne-treating methods. Unlike most cases of Acne where bacteria is the culprit, Fungi is the culprit of Fungal Acne (Hence the name!). There are certain classes & groups of ingredients that have been shown to promote and feed the growth of the Fungal Acne, Fungi such as fatty acids, oils, esters, polysorbates and fermented ingredients. It has hydrating and moisturizing ingredients such as Glycerin, Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen and Arginine which makes it work as a nice moisturizer too. It’s the perfect all in one face product for the day. How to use it? True to its claims the sunscreen is waterproof and sweatproof. For my best friend’s oily skin the sunscreen held up pretty good and she could see the sunscreen at the end of the day without even re-applying it. On my dry skin, the alcohol was pretty harsh and I could see my face craving for moisture at the end of the day. So I avoid using this every day. As for the disadvantages, Zinc Oxide is also not cosmetically elegant. It leaves a disturbing whitish tint on the skin , although , according to a 2000research paper by Dr. Pinnell, it's slightlyless white than TiO2. Still, it's white and disturbing enough to use Zinc Oxide nanoparticles more and more often.
