The extremely embarrassing life of Lottie Brooks is a relatable funny book about an eleven and 3/4 year old girl starting secondary school. It is set in England 2021 and so is very new. As an 11 year old girl myself I know a lot about the subjects and I feel Katie Kirby has captured each problem and added humor to it. OMG ik heb wederom genoten van Lottie en haar avonturen. (en ja herinner me er aan dat ik echt minder OMG moet zeggen!) My daughter couldn't put it down and read it in 2 days. Read at breakfast, walking downstairs, tea time, in the bath. She might as well give up now and go into hibernation with her hamsters Sir Barnaby Squeakington and Fuzzball the Third.
