The Easiest way to understand the Bible!

Be advised this is not the version used at Mass or the Liturgy of the Hours, ICEL (International Commision on English in the Liturgy). The Mass in the USA uses a highly edited version of the NAB and the LOTH uses the Grail psalter. That being said this translation is still an excellent one for study. It has comparably fewer notes than the NAB, which is both a pro and a con. But the paper quality is alright. The original run had paper printed in the USA. But due to high demand the company switched to paper made in China. It's okay. Not great. Now that the binding lives up to good quality standards, I can much more easily recommend the Great Adventure Bible. It’s difficult to find a non-premium Catholic bible with paper quality and readability anywhere close to this edition. If you’re looking for a high-quality reader’s bible with relatively few notes and distracting sidebars, but enough extra material to help with understanding the broad arc of salvation history, this is an easy choice.
