Our goal was to create a puzzle that can bring people together during these difficult times. So we undertook thorough research and development when designing this collection, which included care home visits, liaising with Age UK Centres and teaming up with Zoe Wryko , Consultant Geriatrician and member of the expert team on Channel 4's award-winning TV show, Old People's Home for 4 Year Olds. This 4x500 piece multi-box jigsaw puzzle, illustrated by Daniel Rodgers, depicts four of the events taking place over the four day long UK Bank Holiday weekend in June: The Derby at Epsom Downs, the Party at the Palace concert, the Queen’s Carriage as part of Trooping the Colour and of course, a street party for The Great Jubilee Lunch!

This 1000 piece puzzle has been created by the talented Robert Opie and was originally released in 2016, to celebrate Her Royal Highnesses 90th birthday. We loved the image and thought it captured the Queen’s elegance and personality perfectly, so we decided to give our customers another opportunity to appreciate the image, especially as there were only a limited number of copies printed for it’s initial release. Artist Maria Rabinsky has adorned the British Isles with a beautiful assortment of iconic and characterful images that will be familiar to many of us.

You may be surprised to read this (or not if you've stayed up to date with our blogposts), but Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is well known to be an avid puzzler. The Queen is famous for her preference to puzzles without a guide picture, as she believes this makes the puzzle too easy. The Queen is also a member of the British Jigsaw Puzzle Library, and is believed to frequently borrow them for those winter stays at Sandringham.
