About this deal
Abbi catches her fiance cheating on her. After spending the remaining months of the school year having him flaunt his new relationship in her face and her family pushing her to forgive him, Abbi decides to take a job in Alaska for the summer. She hopes this is going to be a tie to figure out who she is and what she wants, as she clings to her Christian faith. But as soon as she sets foot on the Wolf Resort things do not go as Abbi plans. And when she catches the eye of owner Henry Wolf her world is opened up to much more than she thought. There's definitely some exploration that Abbi does in this one, so don't fret, the erotic times are still very much happening ;-) if that's your thing! Some time ago, I read a bad book about a sheltered girl who has met an older man and started a relationship with him. Well, it happened here as well, only in a very good way.
You're not going to get anything "magical", "special", "new" or "unexpected" from this because that is exactly what it claims to be. But sometimes that is a GOOD thing and NOT a problem.

This story was just so unnecessarily infuriating, I'm so pissed off it's not even funny- what the hell did I just read? This had no right to be that annoying- I'm leaving. I say, go in this with an open mind knowing it’s an erotic genre. I personally enjoyed it - downright delicious, sinful, fun and entertaining. Thanks for the treat! I went in blind. I didn’t even know the genre of the book (it’s contemporary romance), but I saw someone on social media make a post with like 25 books listed and rated each one. That person only gave out 3 five stars and this was one of the books. (Books like AOTAR and the cruel prince got 4 stars by this person so I assumed this book is going to amazing). It wasn’t.
I wanted to know more about Henry’s relationship with his family, and I would have enjoyed seeing more of that in this entry, instead of watching it play out over several books. Since this story is far from complete, I am going to say that the beginning is intriguing, and I’ll have to see if the rest of it lives up to the promise. I like Henry, he is a man of very few words, very experienced, doesn't have time for drama and although an asshole at times if you ask him a straight question...he will give you a truthful answer. On a more positive note, Abbi has been expanding her soap business, which is now called Farm Girl Soaps. She received help from Margo and Henry, who assisted her in getting her soaps approved by Nordstrom and other companies, as well as helped her find clients. She also had a bunch of photoshoots and advertisements done, which is definitely a big step for somebody like Abbi!
