About this deal

They didn’t met under the best circumstances but that didn’t prevent them from becoming friends, even though both of them wanted more. I was nervous to start this because I'm not a fan of angsty love triangles, but Abbi Glines surprised me with how she did this triangle. It wasn't full of a lot of drama and fighting, and for a YA everything was handled pretty maturely. Sure, there was a few parts that had some drama in it, but not nearly as much of the book as I was expecting. I really liked how these three characters acted throughout the book.

He was hurting. I had to remember that. He was lost and hurting and seeking comfort. I should stop him. I shouldn’t let him do something he’d regret tomorrow. But I couldn’t." This book gives lots of drama.. so if you are into that, you are in for a treat. It was plot twist after plot twist, emphasizing on how dramstic rich people in small towns live. Our kiss wasn’t something he thought about all weekend like I had. Still, West needed to be saved. Someone had to get close to him, to reach him"

But it’s possible for love to happen when two persons one person is breaking and the other one is already broken? West Ashby seems to have it all—looks, a football future, and any girl he wants. No one, not even his closest friend Brady, knows that his dad—West’s biggest fan—is dying of cancer. Two years ago, Maggie Carleton saw her father murder her mother, and once she told police what happened, she refused to speak another word. Now Maggie lives with her cousin Brady’s family, and when she meets West, she sees the pain in his eyes that no one else recognizes. The bond between West and Maggie grows, and eventually

Ivy, Serena, and the other girls at school had no personality. They only thing that defined them were excessively ‘girly’ traits - such as being clingy, manipulative, needy, or overly talkative (which was particularly irritating to these characters because girls’ voices are so high-pitched) - where Willa was shown to be above that, better than that, special. In this world, having an even remotely feminine trait was used to demean the other female characters and dismiss them as sluts/bitches. It was disgusting representation.

Brady is nice 2 her but his mum Maggie's auntie wants him 2 look out 4 her Brady is on the football team an is 1 of the best they al go 2 the a field on Friday nites after there game so Maggie as 2 tag along she wants 2 make it easy on Brady she as told him that when she wrote on her note pad so once they r there she just sits in a corner but Maggie is not easy hid she is so beautiful an everyone soon notices her that includes the team but Brady tells them al 2 keep away
