Description

Megatron's model is usable in War for Cybertron multiplayer as the Destroyer-type chassis for Soldier-class characters. His parts are also available in Fall of Cybertron, now classified as Gunner-type components for Titan-class characters.

Beastify the battlefield! Worlds collide when the Maximals and Predacons join the fight, coming together with the Autobots and Decepticons in an epic battle that will alter their destiny forever. Primal power floods the battlefield as the fierce beast modes of the Maximals and Predacons are unleashed! Nearby, Optimus Prime communes with the Matrix, seeking wisdom on the best of action on how to handle Megatron. Bumblebee arrives and suggests that Megatron cannot be redeemed and must be stopped, no matter the cost. But the pair have no time to debate; the Nemesis is now active, and extending a tractor beam to the Ark! The Nemesis then collides with the Autobot spacecraft, breaching its hull. The series features extensive use of generics, though both sides use different character models as the base for their troops. The Autobots use Cog, Sideswipe, Mirage, Ironhide, and Hound to pad their forces while the Decepticons use Impactor, Refraktor, Barricade, and, as usual, the Seekers. All of these generics except for Cog and Impactor are used for the Sparkless, with Laserbeak used for the Sea of Rust birds, Omega Supreme for the Guardians, Impactor for the Dome Guards and a gladiator, Ironhide for the Deseeus Army Drones, and Scorponok for the Predacons. Hasbro decides which characters can be used as generic soldiers. [3]

Both accessories are fantastic. They pay homage to elements of G1 Megatron while fitting in perfectly with this version of the character. I really like this robot mode a lot, but there is one design choice made that I am not fond of. The head sits on a panel that collapses in when you transform the figure. However, in this mode the panel does not rest on anything. It depends completely on a hinge to hold it up. Now, for the most part it has stayed up after several transformations. However, I can see how this could wear down after a while causing the head to permanently flop down. Hopefully I am wrong about this, but I would have preferred the panel actually rest on something. Yeah, this look is cool now, but I don't think I'll have it forever: I mean, who'd like to see things looking the same for over twenty five years, right guys? ...guys?" DLX Collectible Figures present intricate Transformers designs in a smaller scale with high-fidelity production value. With its unique die-cast metal frame design, DLX not only provides an advanced range of articulation, but also greatly enhances the weight and durability. Together with the detailed and weathered paint application of threezero, a remarkable resemblance is achieved in matching the characters as seen in the original media. F.J. DeSanto in a July 14, 2021 interview stated, "We based it on the con-so we didn't have the CAD data for that, 'cause-uh, we knew he was gonna be in the third one, in Kingdom, but they hadn't done the toy yet, 'cause Kingdom was so far out, like I mentioned earlier. We designed a version of-the version you see was our design, but it was based on the concept art they gave us, which I think is from the '86 movie, but we updated it a little bit to fit the um-the tone of the show and also based on some things Hasbro told us they were doing with the toy."

Trypticon, however, was forced into his natural form and defeated after he crash-landed on Cybertron. Megatron's reaction to this went unrecorded. Despite Megatron's might, Raf judged him inferior to Time Warner Cable's ability to transmit Transformers: Prime on laptop, tablet and smartphone computers, as demonstrated by a device which switched between all three forms. Time Warner Cable: Competiton Mandarin: Megaton (Taiwan, 密卡登 Mìkǎdēng), Wēi Zhèn Tīan (China, 威震天, lit. "Extremely Prestigious" or "Heaven-shaking Might")

The manner in which Soundwave deploys Laserbeak in Prime is similar to that the Breastforce from Transformers: Victory. Megatron eventually decided that Alpha Trion was not doing enough, and killed him, forming the Decepticons so he could free Cybertron his own way. Megatron came up against the Autobots, led by Optimus and Magnus, and civil war began between the two sides. In addition to generic character models, many characters use generic firearms based on certain toy accessories as opposed to a dedicated weapon. The weapons are Cog's "RT-5 Circuit Welder", Refraktor's "EMM Distortion Blaster", Chromia's "RT-5 Anti-thermo Blaster" with the "SR Hushfuze" barrel, the Seekers' "HPI Null-Ray Laser Launcher", Ultra Magnus's (who ironically does not use this weapon) "RT-15 Stethoscopic Detector" with an extended "SR Hushfuze" barrel, and Rattrap's fusion blaster.

Megatron's involvement in the preceding events, or events mostly similar, were also chronicled in the comic " Transformers: War for Cybertron." According to the Transformers: Prime 26 Hour Takeover Marathon promos, his favorite song is the theme to My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.Upon its initial release in the United States, War for Cybertron Trilogy was given a TV-Y7 designation, despite the show's dark tone, violence, and brief use of coarse language in the first episode. Presumably due to these very criteria, the series was later re-rated to TV-14, making it the first Transformers television series to carry that designation. Due to the separation of seasons into separate listings (below), Earthrise and Kingdom keep the TV-Y7 rating.
