Following on from the success of the original Ward-D-Vision and 700, we have introduced this new improved longer range series which has the benefit of an upgraded 800x600 display with variable brightness for the highest resolution image from a digital night vision add on system yet.We have also upgraded the housing to a 4 jaw clamp arrangement with multi position clamp so there are no issues with clearance between the night vision unit and the rifle's bolt. While Ward D excels in many aspects, it falls short in its portrayal of mental health. Some readers may feel that the representation of mental health issues is stigmatizing. The negative portrayal of the illnesses represented raises concerns about perpetuating harmful stereotypes. Additionally, the overuse of the word “crazy” and the suggestion that all mentally ill individuals are inherently violent further reinforces these stereotypes. It is important for authors to approach such sensitive topics with caution and ensure that they do not contribute to the stigmatization of mental health conditions. Amy is portrayed as a medical student, and is in her third year (I believe). However, when she’s instructed to give an intramuscular injection, she completely froze and had no idea what to do. This is probably one of the easiest things a person can do, I’ve been giving myself intramuscular injections at home for my disability for years, and I learned from the insert how to do it. After three years in medical school, I’d expect her to have learned that and a whole lot more, but she seemed so ignorant about anything related to medical or psychiatric treatment. As for the psychiatric diagnoses, she sounded like she read straight from the DSM rather than actually knowing the information. love the use of the word zombie as it or catatonic best describe the results of the meds in way too many times. freida mcfadden’s thrillers are absolutely delectable and just so much fun. while i’m still new to the author, her storytelling & writing style make it so difficult to put down her books and just have your mind swirling with theories.

This night vision system is an excellent choice for someone wishing to have night vision capability on a number of rifles. It can also be used off the rifle as a night vision observation device.

Hammersley M. & Atkinson P. ( 1995) Ethnography: Principles in Practice, 2nd edn. Routledge, London. I am a big fan of Freida McFadden, particularly her Housemaid duet. However, this book just did not work for me. First and foremost, the mental health rep was done in such a negative way, I worry that those who suffer from the illnesses represented will be further stigmatized. Derogatory terms were used by the “medical professionals” further adding to this negative portrayal. Joker & Harley Quinn wannabes taking on the patients at the psychiatric Ward D in Freida McFadden’s newest (entertaining, but insensitive) psychological thriller. 🤪

Elliott R., Fischer C.T. & Rennie D.L. ( 1999) Evolving guidelines for publication of qualitative research studies in psychology and related fields. British Journal of Clinical Psychology 38( 3), 215– 229. We are working closely with Llais, the independent organisation which represents the views of health and social care service users and patients across Wales. Another big issue I had with the book is how far fetched it was. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good thriller and can suspend disbelief - to a point. The small inaccuracies riddled throughout this story were very hard to look past. In addition, the pacing felt off with an intense and gripping beginning and end, but a middle section that felt long and repetitive.Pope C., Ziebland S. & Mays N. ( 2000) Analysing qualitative data. British Medical Journal 320( 7227), 114– 116. Two out of two books by McFadden and I'm seeing a pattern with her MCs in both of the books I read, the other being "The Inmate". I feel the leading ladies are a bit dense despite the one here is a med student. Amy's insensitive IMO to refer patients as "crazy", really? I understand if the bad characters say that but not from the MC. There was no jaw-dropping twist for me this time. again I can see a woke person reeling in disgust by the language. Yet truer words were never spoken. My thought, I think the very nice and naïve people who have to put up with the savages that most are in this world are the highly susceptible ones. Ward D” by Freida McFadden starts off with a bang. Immediately after reading Chapter 1, I was instantly hooked as I always am by anything McFadden writes. I’ve been a huge fan of hers ever since I read “The Housemaid” as her style of writing, great storytelling, insane plot twists, and how she fleshes out characters are all top-notch.
