One hose manufacturer says you don’t need the anti-collapse spring because it was used only for factory-fill purposes. If you remove the t-stat restriction and increase the flow rate above design the pump can cavitate which = Less flow with bubbles = much less heat transfer. A side note here, the testing I conducted required the removal of the radiator cap as this would be testing under the worst case senior. The water give the best cooling. The anti-freeze protects against freezing, boiling and corrosion. From what I recall, the temperature drop is reduced by increasing concentration of anitfreeze. It's intended puropose is for cars running water only... if I remember correctly. I ran it with no ill effect in my 96 GS, but because I ran antifreeze in a 50/50 mix, the temp drop was predicted to be faily small. All this information is on bottle. Water Wetter is a surfacant and can actually work as described in the manufacturers literature, but it works better in large bore systems. The kind of diameters we are using (motorcycles wise anyway) it doesn't reach anything like the claimed figures. You might find it more efficient in larger bore car systems, I really couldn't say.
