The first cordless wet and dry vacuum cleaner I’ve tested, this model is both convenient and powerful. However, it’s relatively expensive and battery life doesn’t last long from a single charge, which will limit its appeal. An active Internet connection with ports 80 and 443 available are required for software and firmware update notifications to occur. WD hard drives are engineered with Data Lifeguard Tools, a combination of hardware and software that work together to provide you with the best performance and reliability you've come to expect from WD drives. The Data Lifeguard Tools software includes the Acronis True Image WD Edition (ATIWD) which will assist you with your hard drive installation and management; and the WD diagnostic tool which allows you to perform different diagnostic tests on your drive. The WD-1 water detector can be used in one of two ways. First, it can be used to simply monitor the floor or a space for water… as a leak-detector. The other way the WC-1 can be used is as a water-verification monitor. When used in this way, the water detector is placed where runoff will accumulate (or where water is being introduced to the growing medium). Each output (solenoid or pump) on the Aqua-x can be “assigned” to a specific WD-1. Every time the solenoid or pump assigned to the WD-1 is activated by the Aqua-X, the WD-1 must detect water within a adjustable delay time. If water is not detected (pump or solenoid failure) the Aqua-x will send out a user alert notifying of the “irrigation failure”. Up to 25 WD-1 can be connected to a single Aqua-X. Drive Not Detected

The hose is a little short, however, so if you need to vacuum anything off the floor – such as a work surface – then you’ll need to lift the vacuum cleaner closer. Karcher provides two accessories in the box: a crevice tool and an upholstery tool, but you don’t get a wider floor head. Neatly, both accessories can clip into the slots at the front. You can choose to pay extra for a range of accessories available for the WD1, including a vacuum kit for power tools, car kit and additional brushes. General vacuuming – Easy to move around and carry, with a simple on/off control. The hose is a little short and you get only two accessories in the box. Starting out, I cleaned up a patio that had just been pressure-washed, removing the remaining water and dirt. It took a while to cover the area, given the small vacuum accessories, but I was able to complete the job easily.
