As with any purchasing decision, individual preferences and priorities will play a significant role in determining whether the SoundPEATS Air4 is the right fit. SoundPEATS Air4: Video Review The SoundPEATS Air4 Lite Earbuds feature a 13mm dynamic driver for precise mid-range clarity, and an expansive soundstage that brings your music to life. Tied to this, of course, are other factors such as battery life. The best wireless earphones all have enough battery life for the average listening session but some do last longer than others. Most pairs will have a combined earbud and case battery life of 18 hours or more, though, so you shouldn't be caught out during long-haul flights, though some people might care for a higher earbud battery life for continuous listening without having to pop them into the case to charge.

Next up is form. Do you intend to hit the gym, bike or pavement with your earbuds? Then you'll need a design that'll stay put. Or maybe small and minimal is what you're after, so opt for a pair of discrete true wireless buds.Apple AirPods buds, like the most recent AirPods Pro 2, are excellent if you want a comfy fit, quality audio and have an iPhone as there are some feature only iOS users can access. They're also a great choice if you like the unmistakable AirPods stem design and you're not on a budget – AirPods aren't cheap. However, Beats earbuds offer a great fit and excellent sound. Particularly the Beats Fit Pro, which we highly recommend if you're looking for a pair of earbuds for working out. They're also a little more affordable than Bose options and have a more stylish design. Which wireless earbuds are just as good as Apple AirPods? Now, the real question is whether the ANC is really useful while using semi-open earbuds? The truth is, there is only a slight change from simple passive noise isolation. There is some reduction of sound but let’s face it, these are semi-open earbuds my friends. Quite literally there will always be at least a minor loss of a seal and so it is very difficult to cancel out any noises with this setup.

The best way to make a decision is to start by eliminating your options. Think of the features you need, and look for earbuds that fit that profile. This will considerably reduce the number of earbuds you need to choose from. All of the options in our best wireless earbuds guide are good value for money. However, if you're looking for a budget pair of buds we've got some of those too. It's only when nailing down the finer details of audio quality, we head for quieter environments where we compare the wireless earbuds we're testing to price comparable models and current class-leaders at the money. This gives us the chance to come to solid conclusions and peg each pair on sound quality.

It's the same story for the sound quality, which we described as "one of the most expansive, three-dimensional and fun soundstages I've heard from a set of earbuds", also noting that "we get an extra ounce of detail and texture through the high end, too, compared to the competition". More expensive earbuds manage to provide even more detail (and there's no support for CD-quality sound here through aptX or Sony's LDAC wireless systems), but you have to spend twice as much to get even a bit better, really. Once I engaged the noise-canceling feature and opted for the vocal or treble boost mode, I was met with a remarkable alignment of the sound profile. With this combination, the treble frequencies took a leap forward, unveiling an array of details without verging into excessive brightness or harshness. This adjustment effectively breathed new life into the audio, ushering in a heightened sense of sonic clarity.

Wireless Earbuds: The Air4’s earbuds are deceptively simple in design yet sophisticated in function. They’re crafted to fit comfortably in your ears, providing an auditory escape that’s both immersive and intimate. The quality of sound? Crystal clear, with balanced bass and treble that cater to diverse musical tastes. These aren’t just earbuds; they’re your personal concert hall.

Enjoy the CD-level Original Sound by Qualcomm’s aptX Lossless Transmission

I find that Soundpeats give the Air4 a nice emphasis in the lower mids by increasing the mid-bass which does spill over into the midrange a bit. I see this as a good thing. This gives male vocals some added heft and warmth which comes across natural and more organic to my ears. Instruments in this region benefit from it too. There is generally a nice smoothness over the lower midrange and a slight recession as well. Still, I find males to have good enough presence in the mix to not feel distant at all. “ Cover Me Up” by Jason Isbell has a very clean sound to his voice with good resolution for a semi-open earbud. Even in the shouter sections of the chorus I don’t hear anything grating to the ear. I hear a mostly organic sound altogether. Upper-Midrange You love touch-sensitive controls: These buds have physical buttons, so you have to press them into your ears to control them – some may not love this. The lid has a clamshell-style design, with a cutout at the top center. This cutout leaves room for a built-in LCD display, which you can read whether the lid is open or closed. To the left and right, the display sports a pair of classic four-bar battery meters, one for each earbud. In the middle, it shows the status of the charging case battery, displayed as a percentage. Fit and Comfort One thing the U-AIR4 buds don’t offer is ANC functionality. While the ear tips provide a good seal, you’ll still hear some outside noise. If ANC is important to you, the Enacfire A10 is an excellent set of buds. In addition to ANC, they offer rich audio quality and similar ergonomics. Then again, the battery life is even shorter than the U-AIR4. Extra Features The earbuds come with four ear tips of varying sizes, so you can be sure you’re getting a custom fit with a good seal. To secure the earbuds, place them in your ear stem down and then rotate. EarFun claims to have analysed thousands of ear shapes to ensure an ergonomic fit, and they do feel incredibly snug and secure.

The Ultra provide a comfortable fit and lots of features. Bluetooth 5.3 is a big bonus, while they are also Bose's first in-ears to offer its very own spatial audio tech, Immersive Audio. Step 5:Rotate for the best possible comfort and best fit, and make sure that the microphone is pointing to the mouth. Air 4 Pro TWS Manual | How to Turn On and Off? The SoundPEATS app complements the earbuds, though it’s worth noting that it’s not a particularly feature-rich application. However, it serves crucial functions such as keeping the earbuds updated. The app introduces an adaptive EQ feature, which conducts a hearing test to curate a personalized EQ setting based on your preferences. This offers a tailored audio experience that caters to your unique hearing profile. Additionally, the app provides control over noise cancellation, offering both a noise-canceling mode and a normal mode for your listening preference. How can you possibly look at them all? And if you can’t, how do you know you’re getting the best choice for your needs? At the core of the earbuds, there are components that house the audio drivers. The nozzle of the earbuds presents a slightly different design from standard ear tips, hinting at a unique acoustic setup. Furthermore, the corresponding connectors for charging are clearly demarcated, allowing for seamless recharging when placed in the case. Specs On a single charge, the U-AIR4 earbuds will run for about 5 hours. That’s assuming you’re listening at medium volume. If you’re listening at higher volumes, 4 hours of battery life is more realistic. This isn’t exactly impressive, but it’s not terrible, either. These wireless buds aren't from what you'd consider one of the larger, heavy-hitting brands, but they are ridiculously affordable and they sound great for the money too!
