Side Effect is a sophisticated mature scent more suited for the 25-up crowd and best worn in the cooler weather: fall/winter (avoid use in the high heat). Blessed Baraka is completely unisex and more suited for the mature 25-up. This is a bold scent and is best worn in the cooler weather: fall/winter.

Performance is excellent. Blessed Baraka is an EDP and projects just over arm’s length for about 1.5 to 3 hours leaving a nice scent trail… Psychedelic Love is an EDP and projects nicely (about an arm’s length) for the first few hours, then sits closer to the skin… becoming an intimate scent that draws people in.

On the whole for me already underrated and would have deserved more attention. Here is no perfumer registered, but believe this fragrance comes from Alberto Morrillas. Often frowned upon, but in the niche he does great work for me.

Well, when it comes to creating fragrances Initio are not messing about trying to recreate scents that trigger emotions linked to your childhood or remind you of certain places and times etc… Rehab is part of Initio’s Hedonist collection (white bottles). This was a project to source super high quality natural ingredients to create a nearly all natural luxurious blend.a b Nasr, Seyyed Hossein (1972). Sufi Essays. Albany: State University of New York Press. pp.35–36. ISBN 0873952332. Atomic Rose is Initio’s latest release in their Carnal Blend collection. But, does it live up to its name? Absolute Aphrodisiac is more suited for the mature 25-up crowd and best worn in cool weather: fall & winter (avoid use in the high heat). The fragrances come in beautiful bottles that have a soft rubber-like texture coating, adhered with their logo on the front (the name of each fragrance is engraved on the top of the cap). The brand’s name and name of the scent are engraved on the top of the cap.

It then calms down to create a gorgeous scent bubble around you and lasts an impressive 7–10 plus hours. The opening smells of cherry tobacco full-stop, which is where the link to Carlisle and to a lesser degree, Burberry London for Men (2006). The next phase of the fragrance sees a potent mix of dry red sandalwood and javanol, bringing in some additional nondescript white florals that range from rose and geranium to muguet and jasmine hedione, but they're squeezed so tightly between the fruity tobacco opening blast and the woody amber base that they're just there for "fluff". The next part is where those warm musks come in, being animal in all but the fecal tones that would denote civet and castoreum or their proxies, but the sourness and richness are there. Problem is these musks get overpowered by the woody-ambers once they take hold, and what you're left with is something like Carlisle or Mancera Red Tobacco (2017) gutted to a skeleton then amped to 11, which is no good for anyone. Wear time is about 10 hours, and sillage is "banging". Best use is wherever, as this is a "statement" fragrance that doesn't play well anywhere, but feels more of a fall and winter scent if I strained to place a context where I wouldn't utterly hate smelling it. At the start, it is a dark, sweet seducer that projects intensely. Then joins a spicy accord to it with a touch of amber, which smells but not as animalic as in the prelude of Grand Soir, but rather sweet-spicy. The overall picture then already seems as if cherry must also be included. Blessed Baraka opens with a sweet fruity spicy leather vibe mixed with some rich creamy sandalwood and warm amber. Meri, J.W. (1999) Aspects of Baraka (Blessings) and Ritual Devotion among Medieval Muslims and Jews. Medieval Encounters. 5, pp.46–69.

Herod: So, I wore Herod a day after wearing Tobacco Vanille (unintentionally) and aside from having tobacco and vanilla as dominant accords, they're not that similar. Herod is softer, the vanilla is more obvious but still well blended. The tobacco note is also softer, I'd say TV has a sharper tobacco note. This is more my speed than TV, even though I think both are great fragrances. Performance is great and I love the drydown. Not interested in buying this in any quantity, but if you like the tobacco/vanilla profile, you'll probably love this! If you like that type of fragrance, then I think you are going to LOVE Rehab. That said, as Rehab dries down it takes its very own intoxicating direction…

Atomic Rose is a mature sophisticated scent more suited for the 25-up crowd and is unisex (leans slightly feminine). In Islam, Barakah or Baraka ( Arabic: بركة "blessing") is a blessing power, [1] a kind of continuity of spiritual presence and revelation that begins with God and flows through that and those closest to God. The Absolutes focus on high quality raw natural ingredients that have been blended to create super unique fragrances. The Magnetic Blends Collection Baraka is a prominent concept in Islamic mysticism, particularly Sufism. [3] It pervades Sufi texts, beliefs, practices, and spirituality. Sufism emphasizes the importance of esoteric knowledge and the spiritual union with God through the heart. Baraka symbolizes this connection between the divine and the worldly through God's direct and intentional blessing of those that are most reflective of Him and his teachings.
