Description

Cystic Fibrosis (CF): Delivered following a bronchodilator, hypertonicsodium chloride 7% appears inexpensive and safe with no increasedinfection risk. PULMOCLEAR Inhalation Solution is used for moistening the upper and lower respiratory passages by spraying with an electrically operated jet nebuliser or ultrasonic nebuliser; e.g. as a supplementary measure for the treatment of colds (e.g. cough or head cold), reduced humidity typical of spending long periods in air-condtioned or heated rooms. Consult your doctor immediately if a pregnancy is suspected while taking this medicine. Bronchiectasis: British Thoracic Society Guidelines for the treatment of non-CF bronchiectasis suggest that hypertonic sodium chloridemay be considered for use prior to airway clearance to increasesputum yield, reduce sputum viscosity and improve ease of expectoration (BTS July 2010). Ans : This medication should be consumed till complete eradication of disease, so it is advised to use till the time directed by your doctor. PULMOCLEAR Inhalation Solution is not subject to any age limit restrictions and may therefore also be administered to small children.

Ans : Pulmoclear is a xanthine derivative. It contains Acebrophylline and AcetylCysteine as active ingredients.
