Savage Hearts is the third book in the Queens & Monsters series. It's about Riley Keller (h), she is Sloane's little sister (the h from Carnal Urges), and Malek Antonov (H). Since the story continues right where Carnal Urges left off and has Declan and Kage's POV (Hs of previous books) too, I don't think this book works as a standalone.

I'm usually not someone who ask for a lot of angst, but here I needed something. Everything went too well for Sloane and Declan. Even near the end when Sloane got taken away, it wasn't like Sloane and Declan broke up or anything. They pretty much worked well together to defeat the enemy, but I just wanted them to fight or something. 🏃🏻‍♀️ So there are a lot of cameos from characters in the previous books. Kage/Nate (Ruthless Creatures) and Sloane/Declan (Carnal Urges) all appear and they carried this book. With 'they' I obviously mean Sloane, cause that girl is 🔥🔥🔥 I love her and she can make everything so much more entertaining. What else I love about JTG world is that her series are so interconnected and play in the same world. A certain character from the Beautifully Cruel series is also making an appearance to spice things up. I love to see all these characters come together and pretend like they hate each others guts, but they banter like siblings 😇Please be quiet. My inner demons are demanding that I kill you, and I want to hear what they have to say.” Okay,” I say, looking into his searching eyes. “But just because I’m not freezing you out doesn’t mean I’m not breaking vases inside my head.” Well, between you, me, and Nat, we have the three most powerful men in the US and Russia totally pussy whipped.” Which might have been a smart plan, if Mal didn't get sight of Riley and become fascinated by her. By the time he figures out her connection to Declan, its already too late. He is ready to take her and make her his own little bird. Expect he is going to find that the one who is really ensnared… is himself. And the steam…… well, it is consistent with previous books in the series. Drugged and whipped away when Sloane wakes up and clashes eyes with the blue eyed handsome devil she gives him a tongue lashing he'll never forget in a hurry.

So magnificent it was almost enough to distract me from the disaster that was this plot. I am not gonna talk about it because it was literal chaos and not in a good way. Everything came outta nowhere, for no reason, I can't even summarise this book to you people because it'll sound like I'm trolling. Mal thinks that Riley’s a prostitute, one that’s forced to live in Declan‘s house. He’s ready to kill Declan, (by hiding inside a tower), but then he sees Riley, and he can’t help but be drawn to her and wants to help her. He approaches her, secretly, a couple of times and tries to convince her to run away, but he learns the truth- yet that doesn’t stop him from thinking about her.How you appear is really important. Your clothes say a lot about your personality. So assert your dominance by dressing like you came out of a Fairytopia Barbie movie. Why is Kage keep popping up with his own pov. Dude go have babies with Natalie, you're not that relevant. I’ll bind you and blindfold you, probably gag you with my tie, too. And I’ll make you come, over and over. I’ll make you glad you let yourself submit. Are you ready?” The Story: While dating Stavros, some Irish men hit on Sloane and made digs at the Russians she was with. A gunfight started and the Irish men died. This started a war between the Russian and Iris mafia. Though Sloane broke up with Stavros, the Head of the Irish mafia demanded to meet Sloane. Declan flew to New York and kidnapped her when she was on a visit to her bestie, Natalie. At the same time, Kage is still trying to find a round about way to get his revenge on Declan without incurring the wrath of his lady love. Which is hopefully going to be made easier by the intro of Malek. A Russian assassin who lost his brother to one of Declan's killing sprees. Kage is ready to set it all up and then watch Declan fall.
