The villain in this one was not who I was expecting and it kind of threw me. And while I thought the ending was kind of fast, I also appreciate the book not focusing on the bad so much, since this is supposed to be a light and fluffy romance so the stakes can’t be too sharp right? (did you get my joke? Haha.) The call ended without closure, but Stinne and Nis believe it was a new beginning and the start of the success for TYBO. Alasdair is a quiet and grumpy enforcer who usually lets his chatty twin lead discussions. He doesn’t really like people but with Sophie we see him open up and live again. I really liked Alasdair. He was sweet, protective, and very considerate. Sophie is a smart computer programmer who is working at her foster family's insurance business. She has lost a lot of people in her life and doesn’t let a lot of people in but we see her opening up with Alasdair and gaining a larger family with the Argeneau. These two had an intense relationship filled with the new life mate urges that meant they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. Believe it or not, this place still remains home for a few folks.
