Description

In our Disabled Toilet Alarms category you'll find a range of disabled toilet alarm kits including the Zeta disabled persons toilet alarm with a 4 zone capacity suitable for premises with multiple disabled toilets. We also have an attractive stainless steel disabled toilet alarm which perfectly combines design and function. The reset button should be suitably located, so that it can be reached by anyone using a wheelchair. C-TEC's market-leading NC951 Disabled Persons Toilet Alarm kit includes everything required for a BS8300 clause compliant emergency assistance alarm (except cables and fixings).

The red reassurance LED on the NC807C Ceiling/Wall Pull Unit and the red reassurance LED and sounder on the NC809DBBT Reset Point c/w Sounder activate steady to reassure the user the call has been registered. Both of the devices that make up this range of equipment are powered by an internal battery. The transmitter unit uses a 9V alkaline type battery, whereas the sounder beacon receiver uses a 3.6V AA lithium battery as a power source. This means that there is no need to provide a mains power supply to this system. This saves time and costs in the installation of the system. The system monitors the batteries to ensure there is enough power in them to maintain an operational system. When the battery levels are getting low the receiver unit will beep to indicate that the batteries require changing. DDA Wireless Disabled Toilet Alarm SystemDisabled toilet alarms should be installed in any disabled WC in line with BS 8300 and the Equality Act 2010. Providing a reliable and effective means of raising an alarm is essential to allow disabled people on your premises to carry out their daily lives with confidence. All of our disable WC alarms are manufactured in accordance with the latest directives and are compliant with building regulations. NC943B has a link-selectable Call Accept/Reset button; NC807C has a pull cord with two bangles to generate a call; NC809DBBT has a Reset button. The position of these disabled toilet alarm components is very important to allow the alarm to be used effectively. For example, the bangles on the alarm pull cord should be spaced very specifically at 100mm from the floor and 800-1000mm from the floor – this allows either bangle to be reached in an emergency whether the occupant is sitting on the convenience or lying on the floor. Once an alarm has been activated by pulling the cord two things happen; the external indicator alerts staff to the situation and the reset button situated within the room beeps continuously until it is reset. The beeping from the reset unit both indicates that the alarm has been successfully triggered and reassures the disabled person that assistance will be with them very soon. The Wireless Disabled Toilet Alarm equipment is ideal for a fast installation. This equipment can be installed without having to install any cables between the pull chord unit and sounder / beacon indicator device. Battery Powered Wireless Disabled Toilet Alarms

For applications requiring more than one point of call (e.g. at the WC and the wash basin), up to 3 ceiling/wall pulls can be daisychained together.W x 87 H x 93 D (NC943B); 87 W x 87 H x 68 D (NC806CS); 87 W x 87 H x 24 D (NC809DBBT). Ceiling/wall pull measures 93mm diameter x 27 D. To operate, the user pulls the cord of the ceiling pull unit, which features triangular bangles for easy use by the infirm, and activates a light and sounder outside the room to raise the alarm. Disabled toilet emergency alarms are recommended in workplaces, shops, schools, leisure centres, hotels, museums, theatres, and other public buildings by the Disability Discrimination Act. NC943B includes an onboard 500mA rechargeable standby battery that will power the system for up to 24 hours standby and 15 minutes alarm running time. Hoyles Disabled Toilet Alarm Kits are supplied complete with Aidalarm controller, ceiling pull cord, reset button, overdoor light and sounder and instruction label with braille text. Additional accessories are available for the disabled toilet alarms range including anti ligature pull cords, anti-vandal protective cage and Dado panic strip. Once assistance has been provided, the Alarm call is cancelled from inside the WC by pressing the ‘RESET’ button on the NC809DBBT Reset Point c/w Sounder
