About this deal

Pasaron 12 años, Thalia es comprometida a otro hombre y nunca volvió a saber de Calix. Pero él sí de ella, la tenía vigilada y protegida por uno de sus infiltrados. Calix quería devuelta a su flor, Thalia.

There'd come a time when she wasn't afraid of my darkness, where she welcomed it as part of her because she was just as twisted as I was. There'd come a time when she accepted that was who she was. Calix was Thalia’s protector and hero until something happened in their lives that changed it forever. If Isa had been older and more experienced I think I wouldn’t have minded as much. But for me, Rafe came across more like a predator than a lover and I couldn’t see him care about Isa at all. While reading I was rooting for Isa to escape rather than be caught by him, so unfortunately I wasn’t buying their love. Isa is a girl from Chicago, who is naive and inexperienced. She lives her life trying to fix a mistake from the past, which her twin sister absolutely hates her for. (This sister is a bish and karma is a real thing) when she meets Rafe she learns to embrace the darkness that lurks inside her and that ‘good girls don’t always have more fun’Christian gives me weird vibes and I’m not sure if I think he is genuine or not, I think calix was harsh to brand his hand for grabbing Thalia but I get why he feels he needs to be so harsh given how he previous lost Thalia. All of that changes the day the Veil shatters, unleashing the fae upon our world once again. The magic of faerie marks those of us they mean to take, but the Mist Guard protecting Nothrek will kill us all before they let the fae have us. There’s no choice but to flee everything I’ve ever known, not if I want to live to see my twenty-first birthday as a free woman. So when she meets Rafe on her trip to Ibiza and he sweeps her off her feet, shows her passion and the kind of life she’s missing, it kinda drove me nuts that she fought it and didn’t choose him. Her family was not worth it and her life was nothing worth living up to that point. In fact she was just kinda boring. At 18yr old she legit had no real life. I think he went about marrying Thalia the wrong way. He should have been open and honest after he killed everyone at the wedding. He deffo should have made sure her brother was gone! I don’t think he has treated Thalia very nicely once she was his wife, he’s too intent on keeping secrets. He could have tried harder to help her trust him more and build their relationship up. I have loved watching Thalia come into her own and give as good as she gets I love that for her. She is so much braver than she thinks. She did annoy me with how she is refusing to give calix a chance, he hasn’t done anything bad to her but he isn’t truthful all the time either. He treats her well & genuinely wants the best for her.

Isa- she’s living in her self made cage since she was 5 yrs old cause of an incident that happened and changed her whole life. She lives to please her very unappreciative family. And is basically not really living at all. Her twin sister is the worst person ever. If only there was a way to get into this book and claim Calix as my own (not that I would change anything because that man only has eyes for Thalia but a girl can dream) When the six families, banish the whole of the Regas family from Philadelphia, Thalia’s marriage contract is rendered null and void.Standalone/Duology This book could be read as a standalone but it does feel incomplete, although it doesn't really end on a cliffhanger Hero: Rafael is a mafia boss from Spain known for being a cold and detached merciless king of his domain. Rafael ‘El Diablo’ believes himself incapable of emotion until Isa creates a shift in everything who he believed himself to be. He is definitely a BAD man and that does not change, so if you like your hero to have a good sense of morality, you won’t find that in Rafe. I can see him being too unhinged for many but I absolutely love him. He’s made it on my roster for favorite book boyfriends 🔥

He was 13 when they first met. She was only 5. They created a friendship amongst each other, That would last a lifetime. Isa finally puts herself first and takes the chance on the vacation of a lifetime in Ibiza. Things start to heat up when she meets a mysterious guy and immediately feels a connection she can’t quite break free from. She’s unaware her new love interest is a man that’s orchestrated the entire trip giving ten days to fall in love with him….or else. Thalia is promised to Calix from a very young age. When she’s of age they will marry. This will build a bound between two of the families. we see Calix has a dark side, and we see very well why him and Rafe are friends 😈. He isn’t on races crazy level AT ALL but he’s got that darkness and when he got made at Thalia 🥵🥵🤤Dreams of the Vengeful is the introduction/prequel to the Massacred Dreams Series having as protagonists Calix Regas and Thalia Karras, born in two families of a Greek criminal syndicate in Philadelphia. I felt for Rafe when he was trying to swoon her cause he wanted so bad for her to choose him and he waited so long 😢 so I didn’t even mind when he ripped the blinders off and took her and basically forces her to see what she refused to see. In fact I really didn’t feel sorry for her at all, only cause she really had no life. Rafe wasn’t taking her form anything, not really, her family was horrible her life boring and her future looking very dim. She sat in a room every night in silence for hours just to escape… so yeah she wasn’t living anyways. Rafe wanted to give her everything. Isa on the contrary is a naive young girl. She is sweet and a people pleaser. For the past decade she has been trying to atone for something she blames herself for. Always tamping down her desire to live and experience life. That is until Rafe comes into her life, making her learn her wants and need. Thalia, despite the years of abuse she endured, is not a wilting and submissive woman. She may think herself broken but she is so far from it. Thalia only needed the right push and incentive to see there is so much right at her fingertips. I loved her and all her moments of uncertainty. The way she is falling for the new Calix is intimate and exciting and I love that she gives her whole self to no one but Calix. It made their marriage and love so passionate and unique. She has a loyal nature like Calix but I have a feeling she will be just as vengeful and blood thirsty as Calix, if not more. Thalia is going to rise from the ashes of her past like a phoenix and burn everyone to the ground. And I am here for it. Isa loved him before he kidnapped her and showed her his El Diablo side so really your just kinda waiting for her to grow into the queen she was ment to be. But she fights hard and Rafe kinda loves it to 😂.

Isa has been living a life of regret and has spent her time trying to come to terms with something that happened years ago. A tragic accident with her twin sister Odina has left their relationship broken and from that moment on, Odinas hatred for Isa only escalates over the years. The plot is very well thought out with many twists and turns. This book just kept throwing me off and I loved how unpredictable it was. The intricate family connections were a key factor to the intrigue of this story. I appreciate the way the author intricately wove together all these complex details to create a story that felt truly alive. The major character development was another key element to this story. When she thinks it’s time to go home and end things between them, Rafe reveals that he has other plans in store for Isa. This is the compete Beauty in Lies Series in one boxset. It includes Until Tomorrow Comes, Until Forever Ends, Until Retribution Burns, Until Death Do Us Part. This is a dark mafia romance and you need to heed the warning in the beginning of the book because it will contain triggers for some readers. K I can’t lie, I was so freakin excited to find out more about Calix & Thalia after reading Dreams of the VengefulShe’d understand that true ownership of her body would come when she surrendered it, not from a man who demanded it without ever earning that submission from her.”
