Description

The two speakers that we have been looking at both provide excellent value for money. There are countless similarities in the two devices in regards to features that are available. Both will give you a professional audio experience. However, it is clear that the Jabra Speak 710 brings more to the table.

The Jabra Speak 510 is an award-winning portable bluetooth speakerphone that turns any office instantly into a conference room, wherever you are and whenever you are, so you can carry on with your work tasks while on a conference call. It has built in Bluetooth technology for connecting to Bluetooth devices such as a tablet or a mobile phone and connects via USB to your computer for when you want to talk via Skype or any other softphone solution – and you are ready to dial! It is compatible with all softphones such as Lync, Cisco, Avaya, Skype, etc. and is available in a version that has been optimized for Microsoft Lync. Enjoy long hours of talk time The Jabra Speak 510 and the Jabra Speak 710 are two models that stand out within this range. Whilst these two remain popular, there are some key technical differences that can be noted. This article will explore the key features that these models offer and help identify what sets them apart. I like how Jabra has redesigned the new models, giving them a sleeker, cleaner look, and all the models include an integrated USB-C cable with a USB-A adapter that allows you to plug the speaker directly into a Mac or Windows PC. The relatively compact Speak2 55 comes with a nice felt carrying case and is fairly lightweight, weighing in at 280 grams (9.88 ounces), making it easy to slip into a bag and carry around for conference calls on the go. While it offers Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, it doesn't come with a USB Bluetooth dongle to plug into your PC for more reliable wireless connectivity with computers. Perhaps the most important aspect of the comparison is how they perform in relation to each other. The Jabra Speak 710 does offer more features, but it is vital to determine if it brings more quality.Thankfully, we have spent a lot of time with these models and have been able to extensively test them.

However, there are some differences in the features available and the technical abilities of the speakers. The Jabra Speak 710 is the more capable unit and will offer a higher level of performance. This includes areas such as Bluetooth range and battery life. Offering truly immersive sound design, the Jabra Speak 750 MS provides unrivalled quality. The inclusion of the 360° microphone allows for coverage wherever you stand. In addition to this, the wideband audio allows for superior call quality. This ensures that everyone in your call is able to hear you and you can also hear them clearly. Providing a truly unmatched sense of sound quality. Designed to offer high-quality audio performance in a compact size, the Jabra Speak range has become increasingly popular. This is largely due to the devices providing a seamless connection to a variety of platforms and devices. The Jabra Speak range provides a new level of accessibility. Whether you are working remotely or in an office environment, this is the perfect addition for your conferencing needs.

The Jabra Speak 510 and 510+ units are easy to manage and update with the FREE Jabra Direct software: Jabra Direct. Designed for Microsoft Teams: Instantly access your Teams meetings at the press of a button, to make jumping into conferencing sessions as seamless as possible. You can even access smart assistants like MS Cortana to help you with launching your meetings hands-free or arranging upcoming conversations The USB connection on the Jabra Speak 510 MS allows plug-and-play connectivity to any PC Softphone or UC system. There is also built-in Bluetooth technology for connection to a Bluetooth device such as a tablet or a mobile phone. With its full compatibility with UC systems and VoIP clients, the Jabra Speak 510 MS speakerphone provides seamless integration and call control. Freedom to use on-the-goFinally, the Jabra Speak 710 speaker comes with the Jabra Link 370 USB as standard. The USB can create a wireless connection between any device and the speakerphone. This is particularly helpful connecting laptop devices to the speaker with a hassle-free connection. However, this is not available with the standard versions of the Jabra Speak 510. This is only available in the Jabra Speak 510+ bundle. Performance Let us first focus on the physical differences between the two devices. To begin, the Jabra Speak 710 is a larger unit and can therefore accommodate more people during conference calls. As a result of this, this device weighs in at 298g whilst the Speak 510 weighs 172g. If you are looking to host larger meetings, then the Jabra Speak 710 is definitely the right choice. The speaker drivers remain the same as those in the previous model, but the Qualcomm chipset that powers the speaker has been upgraded (the speaker uses Bluetooth 5.1), bumping the sound quality up a tad, particularly at higher volumes, with better digital signal processing. It remains one of the best-sounding mini Bluetooth speakers, with richer more tonally balanced sound than other Bluetooth speakers its size -- and it should sound good, considering its elevated price point..
