This is a strong contender in the battle of Nokta Makro Simplex + vs Minelab Vanquish 540! Minelab Vanquish 540 Plus a Compass Coin Hustler TR w/6" DD; Garrett Hunter BFO w/smaller-size dual-coil, Garrett Master Hunter TR-Disc. w/both standard DD coils from '75, Garrett American S2 TR-Disc. from '81/'82 w/7" CoPlaner coil. These are all working models I use in seminars to demonstrate what we had, where we came from, and what we gave4 up to get to where we are today. All the above mentioned made Minelab create another new product line. To be more exact, they started this process long ago by designing a middle level metal detector – Minelab Equinox. Then the company announced another metal detector, which I expected to be an alternative to their flagship device CTX 3030, but it wasn’t…. Multi-IQ technology is one of Minelab’s most impressive technological advancements. This technology allows the detector to function on multiple frequencies at once. Rather than having adjustable frequencies, this line of detectors can operate on all 5 of the frequencies simultaneously. I, too, have all the bases covered for the detecting I most enjoy doing and appreciate what I get in performance out of the basically simple yet functional V-540.

The Vanquish 540 comes with a pinpoint mode to make zeroing in on a target easier and faster. It comes with 5 Search Modes: Coin, Relic, Jewelry, Custom, and All Metal. Noise cancelling can be done on 19 channels so if you are searching in highly mineralized areas, you can cut down the chatter most very low frequency (VLF) detectors emit. Iron bias adjustability ranges from Low to High, to better customize user preference.

VANQUISH 540 Tech Specs

Considering the detector’s reasonable pricing, it is the perfect choice for anyone wanting to treasure hunt, irrespective if you’re a beginner or a pro hunter. Because it is so well put together, lightweight, and easy to use, it gets a thumbs up as a build-and-go machine.

Probably the most exciting feature of the Vanquish Series, which puts it way ahead of others in its price range (and above), The Minelab Vanquish 440 has all the features of the 340, except it has a pinpoint mode. It also has 5 Find Modes, like the 540. The 440 has less discrimination than the 540, at 12 segments (the 540 has 25). The Vanquish 540 is the only model in the line with rechargeable AA batteries. This model is very lightweight, at just 2.9 pounds. This means it is easy to use for long periods of time without arm fatigue. The Vanquish 540 comes standard with a V12 12” by 9” waterproof Double-D search coil, but all the Vanquish series have interchangeable search coils. I have my own reasons why Minelabwill dominate the Market by this recent series of machine that I will share later in this Post … So, who wins in the difficult battle of Nokta Makro Simplex + vs Minelab Vanquish 540? This is a tough one for me to judge. I genuinely like and appreciate both metal detectors. Both come from great manufacturers who know what they are doing and what people are looking for. Overall, I would recommend the Nokta Makro Simplex + over the Minelab Vanquish 540.Overall, the detector did what it was supposed to do: find treasure. Here are some items found in and around an old abandoned house: At that, the rivals on the market are very active and they continue designing new metal detectors. For example, Turkish Nokta Simplex can successfully compete with most of modern metal detectors for beginners. If you’ve always wanted to own and use a multi-frequency machine at a lower price tag, then that’s probably the right choice! This gives you better target ID and discrimination at greater depth, and the versatility to perform in a wider range of ground types,

Metal detector Minelab Vanquish 340, Vanquish 440, and Vanquish 540 have had their first firmware update. As the developers say, VANQUISH 540 has become more effective. A new setting, Iron Volume Control, was introduced. It will allow controlling the iron volume you’d like to hear and make trashy and mineralized soil easier for metal detecting. All the Vanquish Series detectors operate on three frequencies, low, medium and high simultaneously, giving you the best of all worlds whatever you are searching for. You’ll be a bit crazy professional. Since, I personally, won’t be able to dig having 5 discrimination segments in my device… Noise cancel The Multi-IQ technology is only available to the 540 and the Equinox series, and no other machines possess this technology.

Accessories

Offering 3 pre-set detecting modes plus pin-point and all metal modes the Vanquish 540 will take your detecting to the next level. Metal detector models 340 and 440 require 4 AA batteries as a power supply, while model 540 has battery accumulators included as well as a charging device for them. Sensitivity: Instead of 4 levels, you’ve got in this one 10 levels … This will give you the possibility to be sensitive to even smaller targets.
