Description

Equipped with a breathable Hipora waterproof membrane, TPU-molded shin, ankle, and heel protectors, and an equally impressive level 2/1/1 CE certification, the Paragon’s are built to perform time and time again. The construction also features PU-coated leather and integrated heel vents to increase breathability and ensure that your feet stay dry and warm regardless of the conditions! Full-Grain leather refers to the strongest, most durable part of the hide located just beneath the hair. This type of leather lends itself perfectly to motorcycle boots as it’s more water-resistant and hard-wearing. PU Coated

There is a 2/3-height zip on the inside of the leg for access with a hefty Velcro-secured flap to cover the zip and pull the top of the boot in tight against the leg and protection comes from a significant piece of shin armour with a separate hard-armour heel cup, a solid toe cup and rubberised sections on the outside of the ankle. PU Coated Leather is created by bonding split leather (the bottom layer of hide) with Polyurethane. This is an artificial type of leather that is entirely waterproof when applied and treated correctly. Microfiber If you are generally happy with the fit, leave the helmet on for a good length of time to ensure it is not pressing in places that are not immediately apparant. If a helmet is really pressing on your forehead this can sometimes cause a headache over time so it may be worth trying another size or brand. complete with ALL tags in place, helmet bag, manual, protective plastic on visor and any other associated parts supplied. Know what these are and how they will protect your foot and you will be OK. They are nice three-season boots but aren’t really the tool for the job is you want to ride in very cold or wet conditions. But for cooler or rides where you may get a shower, then they are good.

Sizing - Please Note : These Helmets come up on the small side, so if you are in between sizes we would suggest trying a size up. Helmet city are not responsible if the helmet does not fit. MOMO

Features such as the multi-terrain sole and ratchet fasteners elevate the Adventure 2’s above everything else on this list when riding in tough conditions. However, the Paragon II fits me nicely so you might want to try a size larger than normal if you are considering a pair. Touring Touring Similar to racing boots, touring boots are designed specifically for riding a motorcycle on the road.

RST Paragon 2 Boots Price comparison

Full-grain, PU coated, microfiber reinforced, what does it all mean, and which material should I choose? Full-Grain Leather Leather Leather boots offer good abrasion protection as well as being a natural wind defence. (5) In addition to fitting well, they are also fairly light; both in physical terms and in how they feel on the bike. There is a definite sporty bias here, with good feel and not too warm. Consider pairing them with a matching pair of RST gloves for extra style points at your next bike meet!

The Hipora membrane also provides an impressive level of waterproofness while still providing your feet with an adequate amount of breathability. This culminates into a pair of boots that are both comfortable and fit for their job in equal measure. This particular boot has been designed with longevity in mind. The vulcanized rubber sole, double-stitching throughout, and a reinforced gear shift pad all ensure that you’ll be able to exploit these boots for multiple seasons without a second thought. Some Brands have specific Medium sizes, for example Roof, which can give a very accurate fit if you are that size, for example :When dirty, RST boots are best cleaned using a soapy damp sponge or cloth. Never clean the boots with strong cleaning agents or solvents, always use mild cleaning agents to prevent weakening the materials and affecting the colour and finish of the plastic. After cleaning, use a cloth to wipe away any surface water and then place the boots on their sides to dry naturally. Do not attempt to dry the boots using excessive heat. Finish with a specialist leather careproduct. I have owned the boots for two weeks and covered around 400 miles with a mix of commuting and weekend rides on a Shiver 750. The Paragon II boots are heavy duty, waterproof motorcycle boots CE certified to level 2/1/1 which is one of the highest levels of protection and comes with a TPU heel and shin protector as well as the rubberised ankle protector and anti-twist reinforcement from the integral shank to the mid-sole, offer further impact support.

The amount of armour on racing boots is usually greater than touring boots due to the increased potential for injury while racing. (14) The vents in the rear of the heel help to keep the foot cooler when the going gets hot and I find they don’t get too sweaty. Thankfully, all of the RST motorcycle boots on this list are primarily constructed from leather, ensuring at least some level of water resistance. Fastenings

And then, when it starts to get really wet, they let water in. Admittedly it does need to be pretty solid rain and spray but nonetheless, the feet get wet in a way that other boots I have tried over the years don’t. A poorly fitting helmet may not only be uncomfortable, more noisy and may move around when riding if too big or give headaches etc if it is too small, it is also dangerous. A helmet simply will not protect or perform as designed if the head inside it is not snuggly fitted against the impact absorbing material inside the shell.
