I was curious about the ingredient tangerine - but could only hear tangerine, which seems but fresh and unsour - and keeps the fragrance transparent. Ever since 2018’s release of Chloe Nomade it seems like there is a new team overseeing the perfumes. They have stopped being minimal variations on rose. That history made me wonder if a perfume called Rose Tangerine was a return to that. The perfumers which had me hoping for more are Michel Almairac and Sidonie Lancesseur. What they produced was a variation on rose but something more substantial in keeping with the more recent releases.Chloé Rose Tangerie has been released this year as a women's fragrance. Created by Sidonie Lancaster and Michel Almairac, who was already co-responsible for the creation of the popular Chloé Eau de Parfum and who also co-developed my beloved Chloé Eau de Toilette.

Longevity is very long at 10+ hours. I may not smell it but others do and people wonder where are the roses until they realize it's someone's perfume. Izia is a very different kind of fragrance as Sisley has a very distinct sort of style and Paul Smith is a very linear sort of rose. Edit: I have bought this perfume and have really been enjoying wearing it. My initial impression remains, and I find the longevity good around 8+ hours, but mild projection at my usual 1-2 sprays (for me that’s a positive, but I am aware this may not be the case for everyone). It’s an easy reach. His gloomy mood but bounces off the cheerful mood scent - which I carry lighthearted but clearly into the house. Oh... my beloved is long gone now. My mother just gifted me a 50mL bottle of this a few weeks ago and I must say it is heavenly. I already adored the og signature Chloe but this is, certainly, the best. For years I avoided rose scents, as in my mind I pictured geriatric homes heavily scented in rose and lavendar pot pourri. My mother use to work in a nursing home & on occasions when I would visit her work place, the scent of rose & lavendar was everywhere and seemed to hang around like a bad stench. hours after the initial application, the pink dewy rose dries down to a classic rose with warm undercurrents. The berry notes are gone. At this point, although not unique, this rose scent is still nice. It remains like this for two more hours until the big let-down. This is when the rose turns all musty and unpleasant. I got a strong musk note that, while probably being synthetic, does carry a bit of an animalic component which I don't love.This is where the fragrance remains until after six hours, the scent is gone without a trace. The rose in the fragrances of Chloé is dosed for my feeling just right, because it is light, feminine and sensual and always gives its wearer a touch of cool romance. As for the other notes, I catch a tiny bit of magnolia but barely bacause they are blended in together. I'm not smelling them individually as I do a little citrus, rose, and in the dry down, musk, woodiness, and a little sweetness of amber.I love floral perfumes, and am making it my mission to discover my perfect rose scent. I want to smell like a big, dewy yellow rose opening on a warm day. Roses de Chloe is so far my favorite in this hunt, although not the perfect rose.

The performance wasn’t too great and I wish I could squeeze a few more hours of wear out of it. Kind of a weak point.
