Description

Sharps' Pilsner is brewed with Pilsner malts and Czech lager yeast and Saaz hops. Pilsner is a pale straw beer with a herbal lemon aroma. In the mouth the beer is crisp and light with clean fruit notes. The finish is brisk and refreshing leaving a dry citrus linger. You must scratch 4 panels only from the 12 available. Cards will be void if more than 4 panels are partially or fully removed, partially or completely torn, defaced or defective in any manner or fraudulently obtained or produced. Cards will also be void should the Void if Removed panel be partially or wholly removed. Be mindful when pouring in case there's sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Our experts recommend leaving the final centimetre in the bottle just in case. Not quite as pungent as their pale ale siblings the IPAs (Indian Pale Ales), but with more herbal bitterness than fellow family members the ‘light bitters’, amber ales occupy a pleasing position on the ‘hoppy-ness’ scale. Amber ale brewers also use specific types of malts to give them their distinctive and inviting bunt-caramel colour. Tasting the beer James, my husband, seemed less offended by these metallic overtones but still agreed it had had a definite ‘sharp’ aroma.
