Hyaluronic AcidSerum as your first step after cleansing, then apply preferred treatments & moisturizer. First off is the percentage of BHA you use. The lower the percentage, the less irritating it will be for your skin. Don’t be fooled into thinking a milder exfoliant will be less effective: the aim here is to get the benefits of exfoliation without destroying your skin barrier, which can result in more blemishes, irritation and discomfort. I never use chemical exfoliants during the day. So I use it in one of my PM routines. I use it after cleansing with Micellar Water and don’t layer it with any other actives.
