Just next to the fingerprint sensor is the tri-lens camera array. It’s housed in a bump, but it’s a small bump compared to similar mounts on other phones, and wasn’t as inconvenient as a result.

Rear camera: Primary - 48MP, 27mm, f/1.8; PDAF; Ultrawide - 8MP, 13mm, f/2.4; Depth sensor - 2MP. Video recording up to 1080p@30fps. This is the follow up to the rather good Honor 9X. As you might expect, the word Pro means it comes with more processing grunt, with the Kirin 710 processor subbed out for a 2.27GHz octa-core Kirin 810. The 6GB RAM remains the same but there’s also a generous 256GB of internal storage, which itself can be expanded via microSD cards. Have you been wondering how HONOR 9A & HONOR 9X Pro run on Huawei Mobile Service (HMS) and if it's worth buying?Battery life, by the way, is a slight improvement on the Honor 9X but not massively so. In our test, it lasted 13hrs 26mins before giving up. Unsurprisingly, the 5,000mAh cell on the Moto G8 Power lasts quite a bit longer: nine hours longer, to be precise. Honor 9X Pro review: Camera The 8MP ultrawide photos are okay, but nothing special. The resolved detail is modest at best, the corners are pretty soft because of automatic lens correction and the dynamic range is rather low. Still, those are presentable enough for the social networks. Connectivity options on the Honor 9X Pro include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.20, USB Type-C, Headphones, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The 60fps footage from the main camera is richer in detail and that's probably because there is no EIS involved like on the 30fps clips.

Honor 9X Pro is the new mobile from Honor that was launched in India on May 20, 2020 (Official). This mobile is available at a starting price of Rs 17,999 in different color options. The mobile from Honor comes with a 6.59 inches (16.74 cm) display that has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The regular Honor 9X is pretty much indistinguishable from the Motorola and Xiaomi handsets, but the Honor 9X Pro pulls clear on Geekbench in both single-and multi-core testing. Impressive. Sadly though, performance is less stellar to my eyes. Not only does it seem to apply some pretty aggressive beautification settings, even when the settings are pushed to zero, skin tones take on a very light appearance. I’m pale, but I’m not this pale (middle is default, left is with beautification turned off, and right is with it set to max):

But demosaicing is something a lot of phones can do and probably that's why Honor is trying to one-up those with the 48MP AI Ultra Clarity option, which improves the photo quality through supersampling. It takes six seconds to snap a single photo and you must keep the phone steady, but it will be worth it. The 48MP AIUC samples have much more detail than the regular 48MP images and if you downscale these to 12MP - those are superior in detail to the regular 12MP shots, especially in high intricacy areas such as foliage. Samples coming up in a bit! Finally, the electronic stabilization is always-on and does a very good job. We would appreciate an option to turn it off though. Furthermore, the aspect ratio of the Honor 9X Pro is 19.5:9 so that you can enjoy vivid and crystal clear visuals while watching videos, playing games, or streaming movies online.. The 48MP AI photos are with exceptional quality and excellent detail. If you downscale these to 12MP - they are far superior in detail to the regular 12MP snaps. Indeed, if per-pixel quality is of great importance, then you should try this 48MP AI UC mode. The Honor 9X Pro is running on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.1 by Huawei, and it has the new Huawei Mobile Services that come to replace Google's. The AppGallery is available, sure, and its app catalog is still growing. If you can't find your favorite apps there are a few workarounds so we figured we should give the Honor 9x Pro a chance. Honor 9X Pro specsIt’s better indoors, too. Though all phone cameras struggle with low-light conditions to some degree, budget and mid-range handsets suffer the most. Still, once again, the Honor 9X Pro has the upper hand: images are considerably less noisy, less blurry and have more detail. But it's one very intriguing smartphone with dazzling looks, powerful hardware, a capable camera, and an instant eye-grabber - an immersive notch-free display. It has lots of RAM and storage, too, and the battery should last you quite long. The Honor 9X Pro can record in 1080p resolution with its main and ultra-wide-angle snappers though 60fps mode is available only with the primary camera. There is electronic stabilization and it is always-on. The two phones fare well with normal selfie shots. The Pixel 3a does its normal post-processing magic and gives me a healthy looking skin color while the Honor 9X shows my face in its more natural state. The scene behind me looks much better on the Pixel, though, which helps sway my opinion in its favor in this case
