Oud oil does offer some benefits to the skin, including skin nourishment and healing. To use Oud on your skin, dilute to 1% by combining 6 drops of Oud and 1 oz of high-quality carrier oil such as Fractionated Coconut oil. This mixture can be used as a facial serum, body oil or cologne when applied to pulse points. For added skin nourishment, add a few drops of pure vitamin E oil to the mixture.Oud’s warm, woodsy, leather-like and earthy aroma has been prized for centuries and for good reason. In fact, the Bible speaks of aloes, a synonym for Oud, as being an ingredient in anointing oil in Psalm 45:8. Due to Agarwood’s rarity and distinguished aroma, today wearing Oud oil is still a symbol of wealth and prestige much like it was in days of yore.
