The 1st law of water cooling is "never mix metals"... aka eliminate 99% of CLCs from consideration. The second law is "radiator fans always blow in.

Dynamic MINI Case Review - PC Perspective Lian Li O11 Dynamic MINI Case Review - PC Perspective

However, the only downside is the rear exhaust as there is no room to place a fan that can pull the air out from inside of the case. However, if you plan the placing of the fans properly, then this won’t be a big issue at all. The best combination, if one is going for an air cooling option is to use three fans for intake on the side and 3 on the bottom as intake. The top should be utilized as an exhaust so that the hot air can be removed from inside the case. Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL cobiy: One chamber for MB and one for the PSU? Works cool here. Nice case and holes in panels are cheap. In some climates dust looks like wet lint. Filtration in the tropics is a must or your PC will short out. Many coolers and watercooler keep it running at acceptable speed even when hot. The Lian Li O11D range is known for its modular innovations. The latest O11D EVO takes modularity to the next level. In addition to the easy to remove panels, this mid-tower case can be configured in one of two modes: Normal and Reverse. Whether your desk set-up is skewed to the left or right, you can create the perfect showcase gaming PC. Thanks to the hassle-free design, it only takes a few simple steps to arrange the Lian Li O11D EVO into Reverse Mode. The top and bottom panels can be switched and the whole case flipped, putting your hardware to the left-hand side of the case rather than the traditional right. b) Which components are we concerned about ? I see nothing in MoBo (30 watts) , RAM (5 watts) , HD (10 watts) , whatever manuals about the dangers / performance impacts of 28C air .The Lian Li O11 Dynamic Midi Tower can fit an E-ATX motherboard in the left chamber, a graphics card up to 420 mm in length as well as a CPU cooler that is up to 155 mm in height. When it comes to the installation of AiO- or custom water cooling, the case offers the possibility of installing up to three 360 mm radiators at the same time: On in the top, one at the bottom and one next to the motherboard. To that end the motherboard tray has been angled to the right in comparison to earlier designs. Air inlets are located on the front right hand side of the case. These ensure that heat produced by high-end components is dissipated efficiently and effectively. The O11D EVO provides far too many mounting options to list in a simple features table. For example, Lian Li states that the bottom of the case can hold four 2.5-inch or two 3.5-inch drives; the side can hold four 2.5-inch or two 3.5-inch drives; the drive cage can hold three 2.5-inch or two 3.5-inch plus one 2.5-inch drive; and the cable-management bar can host two 2.5-inch drives—and that's before we start subtracting for the potential installation of a second power supply or side/bottom radiators. The actual limit stated by Lian Li is dictated by the number of screws and grommets included in the installation kit. Built-in rgb effect controlled by the front panel m|c buttons to synch with the motherboard, switch to the 8th mode

If I'm wrong ... why the people who design, market, support and try to sell these products advise their customers to install fane]s this way ? Is it really feasible that they don't want to show their products in the best possible light ? Should you prefer vertical or, the more traditional, horizontal mounting, then AiO cooling is the best option. There is support for three radiators and up to ten fans across the chassis. In both Normal and Reverse modes, up to a 360mm radiator can be mounted on the top, side, and bottom, with the latter two having support for 280mm models, also. Depending on radiator size, up to three 120mm or two 140mm fans can be installed in the same areas, with the tenth being a 120mm fan on the rear. Dual-Chamber, Sleek Interior So I have had my O11 build now for about a month. But one thing that is ALWAYS SO hard to look at is the fans. I bought the Corsair White RGB ML120 Pro's and with my current setup, the bottom fans are intake, side fans are intake and the top (radiator fans) and rear fans are exhaust.

The quiet Seta Q1 is at a disadvantage here, since we chose to front-mount our cooler to keep that case's top-panel noise baffle in place (in keeping with the purpose of that case).

Now with the panel removed we get a bit clearer view of the interior. It is a vast expanse of mounting and possible use cases where you can genuinely make the PC011D XL your own. While this chassis is heavily targeted at liquid cooling enthusiasts, it can hold its own with an AIO or even an air cooler depending on what your build requires. All of the areas previously mentioned which support up to a 360mm radiator can also fit fans in the place to create a veritable whirlwind in the vast open expanse. I don't see anything that would be a detriment to fitment here. Make sure that your motherboard BIOS is the latest version. If not, recommend to update to the latest version. Moving to the left is where things are quite interesting. By default, there is a standard ATX PSU opening at the bottom, while there are two covers above this which have dual HDD hot-swap caddies below the cover. These can fit up to four 3.5" or 2.5" drives or a combination of this. However, if you need a genuinely extreme system like the aforementioned Dominus Extreme pushed to the limit. You can have up to three' PSU's in place as the HDD hot-swap bays use standard PSU style mounting so that they can be removed and replaced with power supplies should the need for far more power be needed.

I dont mind lian-li not including fans, every case i have bought over the past 3 years i immediately rip the preinstalled fans out and replace them with corsair af 120's or their sp 120's, but lately i've been going with the hd120's and ll120s. I know have a box full of crappy fractal, corsair, phantek, and zalman fans.
