About this deal

I am always very curious about the ingredients of a lubricant. It is something that you put on your intimate parts. I was also curious about what might create the "mild numbing effect". I understand from the label that this lubricant contains a large number of components that are quite normal in the cosmetic industry. One of the special ingredients is "laureth-9". This is an agent that is used in the pharmaceutical industry for skin irritations or to treat small wounds. It also contains 'avena sativa kernel extract'. It is extracted from oatmeal and is often used in facial cream to prevent irritation. A third ingredient is 'humulus lupulus cone extract'. This is extracted from the hop plant and has a relaxing effect. There is also a hint of menthol in it. In short, I didn't see any ingredients that were red flags. It’s oil-based and does a really good job for anal penetration. But, it’s not friendly for condoms or silicone toys. I also found it didn’t make any mess when I used it with its gel-like consistency that matches really well with its squeeze tube bottle.

Looks and as small as a hand cream, you can stash Bijoux Indiscrets Slow Sex in your bag and call it a day. This lubricant is formulated to be super hydrating. It contains aloe vera, chamomile, and arnica that boost hydration and anal elasticity. It’s great for butt plugs because it’s safe for all sex toys (and condoms!) while providing you with some cushioning for anal play.

Baby oil is a petroleum-based mineral oil, which means it will break down a latex condom, increase a woman’s risk of vaginal infection (when used vaginally), and it’s difficult to wash out. When it comes to safe anal sex, using the best anal lubes for your needs is critical. “[Lube] reduces friction to lower the risk of condom breakage. It can also help to prevent small tears that can be painful and increase the risk of infection,” says Jess O’Reilly, Ph.D., sexologist and host of the Sex with Dr. Jess podcast. “And lube can enhance sensation and pleasure!” Yes, it could be a safe and natural lubricant for anal play—but it’s not the best anal lube alternative. Aqua, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Laureth-9, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Alcohol, Aminomethyl Propanol, Avena Sativa Kernel Extract, Carbomer, Glycerin, Humulus Lupulus Cone Extract, Limonene, Mentha Piperita Oil, Ethylhexylglycerin, PhenoxyehanolThat’s why you should know which are unsafe ingredients to steer clear of so you can weed out the lube as soon as you see any of these in the ingredients list: For one, you can’t use it with a condom because it degrades condoms made from latex and polyisoprene. Since it contains enough water to reduce molecular friction from silicone-on-silicone, you may use it on silicone toys.
