About this deal

WiFi 6E allows for 7 (3 for European Union Member states) additional 160 MHz channels, offering up to 1,200 MHz (480 MHz for European Union Member states) of additional spectrum for 6 GHz WiFi. Fast performance, ease of use, and 6GHz Wi-Fi make the TP-Link Archer AXE75 a smart choice for users looking for a future-proof mainstream Wi-Fi router. Granted, it doesn’t offer multi-gig networking ports or link aggregation, but these features are typically found on more expensive routers. The AXE75’s impressive throughput and good signal range, combined with strong parental controls and a user-friendly mobile app, are enough to merit an Editors’ Choice award for the nascent category of affordable Wi-Fi 6E routers.

Hardware specifications: TP-Link Deco XE75 AXE5400 mesh router TP-Link Deco XE75 AXE5400: Detail photos The TP-Link Deco XE75 AXE5400 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E System’s retail box. The TP-Link Deco XE75 is a Wi-Fi 6e mesh system with HomeShield built in. This system helps kill Wi-Fi dead zones in your home by providing a strong Wi-Fi 6e wireless connection. The TP-Link Deco delivers a connection that is stable and safe throughout your home. The system is AI driven and uses AI roaming to create the ideal mesh Wi-Fi solution for your smart home. TP-Link Deco Wi-Fi 6e system gives you seamless roaming on one Wi-Fi name which creates a unified network. Key to securing any Wi-Fi network in the home. Wi-Fi 6E is still relatively young, and there aren't too many devices ready to take full advantage of it. TP-Link offers methods to future-proof your home with mesh Wi-Fi sets like this Deco Pro and affordable routers like the fantastic Archer AXE75. Unfortunately, most of the same headaches found with other Deco models persist here. Working from home has me regularly using a VPN (virtual private network) to access content from other countries, so the inclusion of OpenVPN tech in the AXE75 is a welcome sight and saves me from installing extra desktop applications. The AXE75’s 6GHz throughput performance was pretty much in line with its 5GHz performance. It scored 921Mbps on the close-proximity test, while the Linksys Hydra Pro 6E managed 927Mbps. At a distance of 30 feet, the AXE75 delivered 397Mbps, beating the Linksys Hydra Pro 6E (379Mbps) but trailing the Asus ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 (401Mbps) and the Netgear RAXE500 (427Mbps). Whole Home WiFi 6E– Cover up to 7,200 ft 2 with next-gen seamless WiFi and make dead zones and buffering a thing of the past †‡

Really enjoying your posts and learning a lot. I was between the TP-Link Deco XE75 and eero Pro 6E but via your posts, have decided to steer clear of eero for the time being. In reading this post, though, I’m curious if I should steer clear of a 6E solution altogether. The heat maps show that the Archer AXE75 was able to provide a relatively strong 2.4GHz signal throughout our test house, but the signal became weaker in parts of the garage. The router’s 5GHz band also weakened in the garage but showed slightly better range. It's where my Ethernet-only desktop PC is located, which previously meant running an unreasonably long LAN cable around the house. Moving through the simple steps on the app, you can add the remaining Deco nodes, however many you need, up to a recommended maximum of 10. Since my home office is the farthest-reaching room in my home, it's the one that suffers the most from wireless dead spots. The two Deco XE75 Pro units are located roughly 25 feet from one another, separated by the ceiling and one room across, so this performance is respectable.Deco XE75 Pro eliminates weak signal areas with clearer, stronger whole-home WiFi generated by BSS (Base Service Station) Coloring and Beamforming technologies as the WiFi dead zone killer. Thus, there will be no more searching around for a stable connection.
