If desired, the LAN 4 connection can also be used as a WAN connection. This means that the internal cellular modem is switched off and the Internet connection is processed via an existing LAN connection. Of course, this is particularly useful if you only occasionally use the Huawei B535 as an LTE router. For the rest of the time, the device then functions as a normal WLAN access point. My solution which is working fine now after many hours of trouble is to Root the Samsung S7 and tether to an old Asus AC68 which can use USB from the phone. Unlimited SIM now giving between 50-70MB dl and 20-30MB ul. In terms of LTE speeds, the Huawei B535 was able to convince in the test. Although the device was tested in the test with unlimited SIM cards from Vodafone, it was far from the theoretical maximum, but with well over 150 Mbit/s in the downlink and up to 70 Mbit/s in the uplink, you can do a good life. We also take a comparison test with the Netgear Nighthawk M2 Router and it shows that the network theoretically enables even higher speeds.

I used huaCRTL app for Android and tried to change bands, switch to 3G (this one actually helps but sometimes it becomes slow as hell too).

It definitely an issue with this router since when I tried the same SIM in an old mobile using hotspot. The connections were immediate. I also had the B311 before. On both I experience similar issues. Maybe they are the same as what you have discovered.

I'm writing this here in the hope someone may help me, three technical support are as useful as a chocolate fireguard... The connection speeds via LTE and WLAN are good, and the many RJ45 Ethernet LAN connections are commendable. You have to do without a telephone system and a USB connection, but Huawei has installed connections for an external 4G LTE antenna. If you can live with the few functions described, the Huawei B535 is a very good LTE router at a fair price. Get the User manual instruction guide for Huawei B535-232 Technologies Co.,Ltd in PDF format for free. This manual describes the Setup of Mifi Routers, as well as the procedures for preparation, installation, and removal. I got further with this after finding a similar guide online. But the router vpn remains disconnected. Can't get it to connect. Took a few days but managed to get this working however, it's not use able for me. Speed difference is dramatic from up to 50Mb to less than 2Mb so not viable.I updated my B535-232 and its now showing the latest update but the configuration file and webui file remain the same and no bridge mode showing within the setting. Yes indeed, that's exactly what I have running - an AC68 with the S7 connected via USB installed in my loft.
