If you don’t want to run chunky cabling across your garden, then analogue wireless cameras are a potential solution around this. These cameras provide a range of up to 25 to 30 metres so if you need to transmit any further than this then you may wish to consider another option. Remember that wireless cameras still need to be powered by the mains. Another thing to be wary of is interference from other devices that use the same frequencies, such as Wi-Fi. Speaking of which… Wi-Fi camera Those wooden sheds with an over hanging roof would make the better spot as the feeders need an area to hang with space all around it.

If your hanging flower pots - which should be in wooden flower basket - would be idea for hanging a bird feeder directly beneath it.Why not take advantage of the neighbours plants that overgrow into your garden; well growing up the trellis, over the top of the fence, before creating blooming plantation. What we mean is because a bird feeder is hanging, its not to say wild birds will feed; but we can say for sure they will eat if they can see the feeder. Thankfully, we’ve put together a handy how-to guide. Our aim is to give you the tools to build a bird box that offers our avian friends a place to call their own.

REALLY WILD BIRD FOOD IS A FAMILY BUSINESS. WE AIM TO PROVIDE AN OUTSTANDING SERVICE WITH A PERSONAL TOUCH THAT SHOWS WE CARE! The pole that goes around the swings will be a safe spot as its up high with no possibility of cats or predators getting to the feed or birds. All cameras need some form of power source, as they cannot operate on unicorn pixie dust. While sometimes they can be powered by batteries this is not recommended because battery lives tend to be low and you don’t want to be regularly disturbing the nest box when you are changing batteries. Mains power supplies are the only reliable way of powering the cameras 24/7. This does mean you need to run a cable from the nearest power source to the box. This isn’t always convenient for some, but you can buy power extension cables inexpensively, which can be buried underground and hidden away.If in full bloom it will have lots of cover from the sunlight and harsh weather, well birds can use the vegetation for natural cover. Keep collections to yourself or inspire other shoppers! Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections—they may also appear in recommendations and other places. Wired cameras offer reliability and more robust images, often for a better price. Wireless cameras provide the convenience of not having to run as much cabling, although they still need powering from the mains. Wired cameras Think high up and as remote as possible to avoid cats or foxes potentially disrupting or harming the birdbox. At least 3 metres should do it! Face the entrance in a north or east position so it doesn’t overheat. Deluxe Perch add-on with screw mounts for suet ball & Bird Buddy bird feeder - does not include suet ball holder or Bird Buddy

Between watching wonderful videos and images of nesting and fledging feathered families, buzzing bees, boisterous badgers, or huddling hedgehogs, we are working hard on designing and building the best products for you to enjoy watching nature and help protect the animals during their hopefully happy life.

A pergola is setup in my next door neighbours garden but as I didn't know what they were called at the time, it took me some time but I got there ...a pergola. It won't have a suitable fixing to hang feeders so you'd need to screw in a decorated brass hook, before you can hang anything. So safe in fact its highly unlikely a cat can climb the wall or any ground predator for that matter, so in a way its the safest place to hang a bird feeder. Again this should only be used when you don't have clothing hanging up, as the birds will poop as they eat, thus making a mess of your work clothes or the kids school uniform.
