The seme has been distancing himself away from the uke, he’s declining the uke’s invites and told the uke to play less and study more. The seme’s a lot smarter than the uke so he could go to better university but he’s aiming for S University because that’s where the uke wants to go. If the flow of time is continuous--uninterrupted as far as the rest of the world is concerned, ignoring this loop you and I keep experiencing, and branching out from each version of the loop into new lines of reality depending on the changes we put into motion each time around--then history should have progressed twenty-five years for each replay we’ve been through.” This manga does not shy away from their feelings from one another and the end...oh, the end is breathtaking. in so many ways. In a later replay, the two decide to take their experiences public, giving press conferences announcing future events in explicit detail. The government eventually takes notice and forces Pamela and Jeff to provide continued updates on foreign activities. Although the government denies responsibility, major political events begin to transpire differently, and Jeff attempts to break off the relationship. The government refuses, and the pair are imprisoned and forced to continue providing information.

I was looking forward to reading this book, because I am a fan of Love that Dog. There were some parts I liked, but overall I have to give it an "ehhhh." Leo (sardine, fog boy) is a very observant, sensitive curious boy who at times struggles with fitting in to his Italian family. I could relate to his quest to find out more about his family. He reveals his inner thoughts to us from up in his maple tree as he reads the journal his father wrote when he was Leo's age. Replay is a fantasy novel by American writer Ken Grimwood, first published by Arbor House in 1986. It won the 1988 World Fantasy Award for Best Novel. The ARC of this manga was provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.Replay won the 1988 World Fantasy Award [2] and was on the shortlist for the 1988 Arthur C. Clarke Award. To have someone you love, go— it must leave a big empty hole in yourself, and no one can see the hole, only you.” RePlay by Saki Tsukahara is a standalone yaoi/BL manga, that's being published in February 2020 by Tokyopop. It's focused on two ex-baseball high school players who share more than their passion for this sport. Tsukahara's art style is pretty unique and pleasant to look at. Compared to other yaois out there, this one is not only focused on relationship itself, but also on boys' future, their fears and their passion for the sport. I'm not a big fan of sport manga myself but I liked the way author's woven love for baseball into the story. Replay by Sharon Creech puts a very interesting spin on the idea of our dreams vs. the reality we live in. The daydreamer and protagonist Leo is the key example of this, as his frequent daydreams elude to his sense of theatrical grandeur. From each segment to the next, he plays a successful football coach, a world-famous actor, and even a tap dancer. However, the true story that Creech crafts revolves around how this daydreamer of a boy handles day to day issues with a family of six (two brothers and a sister), and what his life before his first big performance, a stage play entitled Rumpopo's Porch.

When I try wrapping my mind around time travel and the math associated with such concepts the pressure in my head usually has me looking for a shot of high octane alcohol to keep my brain from exploding into shards of disconnected thoughts. It wouldn’t be very useful after that.Leo is a boy with big dreams and a large family that doesn't understand him and a dad that changed after a accident . He starts questioning when he finds his dad's diary when he was thirteen and he learns about a aunt that he has never knew about and joins the school play. Will his family accept who he wants to be? This was really cute! Yuta was a really cute character and this is a cute little friends to lovers romance. Pamela and Jeff eventually fall in love and become convinced that they are soulmates. Complications arise when they notice that their replays are getting shorter and shorter, with Pamela not beginning her next replay until well after Jeff. Eventually, the two decide to try to find other replayers by placing cryptic messages in newspapers. The messages, which seem very vague to anyone who is not a replayer, generate a fair amount of dead-end responses until the pair receives a letter from a man who is clearly knowledgeable about future events. Jeff and Pamela decide to visit the stranger, only to discover that he is confined to a psychiatric hospital. Surprisingly, the staff does not pay attention to his discussion on the future, but it soon becomes clear why the man is institutionalized when he calmly states that he thinks aliens are forcing him to murder people for their own entertainment. Westbrook, Caroline (October 19, 2010). "Groundhog Day Review". Deadline Hollywood . Retrieved January 29, 2023.
