About this deal

But there are some things Charlie can't control, like the arguments his parents keep having (which are making him more worried than ever) or the mysterious animal disappearances spreading through town (which might be connected to Charlie himself).

De week dat Mot een duikboot vond, begon redelijk normaal. Dat was niet zo gek. Er moest nog heel wat gebeuren voor haar grote vondst. Ze had nog niet eens een magneet.A clever and hilarious story with a hero you'll love... I'm already looking forward to the next one Parents In Touch Furthermore, my wife is an educational psychologist, and I have listened to her and - like many great men through history - I shall take a woman's knowledge, steal it, and take the credit. The truth is that any intelligent opinions and advice below are almost certainly hers. In the words of Jean-Claude the pigeon... I am in love with this most delicious, beautiful and delectable book and I wish to fly away with it!" Laura Ellen Anderson, author of the Amelia Fang series Charlie McGuffin has an incredible secret . . . He can change into animals. All sorts of animals: a flea, a pigeon, even a rhino. Trouble is, he can't decide when - it only happens when he gets worried.

This is a glorious debut from an exciting new voice in children's comedy fiction. Sam Copeland WILL turn into a megastar on the strength of this first outing. Cleverly daft storytelling at its very, very best. - Maz Evans, author of Who Let The Gods Out Charlie feels quite lonely because at first, no one else seems to believe him that this is going on, let alone tries to understand why. Over the course of the book, Charlie aims to overcome his difficulties and worries before the school play to avoid any major embarrassments. Duik in de fantastische wereld van Mus & kapitein Kwaadbaard in dit debuut van (stem)acteur Kevin Hassing! Education Shed Ltd, Severn House, Severn Bridge, Riverside North, Bewdley, Worcestershire, UK, DY12 1AB Gloriously silly, gleefully naughty, totally entertaining. So good, in fact, that I HAD to finish it once my son was asleep! - Michelle Harrison, author of A Pinch of MagicCrucially, books can be a vital tool to help normalise difficult emotions and difficult experiences that children may be going through. I attempted in my book to show different coping mechanisms, such as talking to friends, mindfulness and yoga. I’d heard a lot of talk about this book and how funny it was but also how it was a great representation of what it’s like to have anxiety. I’m sometimes a bit wary of hype but I’m particularly interested in children’s books that deal with mental health or emotional wellbeing so I decided that this was a book that I really needed to read, I’m so glad that I did. Wonderfully heart-warming and absolutely hilarious. - Catherine Doyle, author of The Storm Keeper's Island

Superleuk boekje. Heel knap beschreven.

The third hilarious adventure for Charlie McGuffin, the boy who changes into animals when he gets nervous. really. This is a great book for middle grade kids to open up a discussion about anxiety and how to handle difficult situations. It was the right length for the target audience, great illustrations, and it captured my kids imagination.
