About this deal

Can your guests transport their dino egg safely to its nest without dropping it? And who will get there first? If the thought of hosting a dinosaur party fills you with dread, take the kids out for the day instead. There are loads of dino-themed attractions across the UK that your child and their friends will love. This is lots of fun and will keep the kids entertained for ages. Fill a large container of sandpit with slightly damp sand and bury toy dinosaur bones and fossils. Appeals to a wide range of preschoolers and also captures a few who prefer stories about dinosaurs and machines over people.

This book will also be fun to do in storytime. It involves all sorts of construction equipment and dinosaurs. It's a rhyming book which is a favorite of mine =D It also talks about teamwork! If you prefer your dinosaurs cute and cuddly, try making some out of fondant to decorate your dinosaur birthday cake. There are loads of step-by-step YouTube videos to guide you. Still, this young boy’s imagination is a powerful force for helping him deal with life, something that should be true for all children but sadly isn’t.Talk about the names for the different diggersaurs, lots of them have names that are about the job they do. Perhaps you could make up more together. This hilarious picture book is a rip-roaring read-aloud guide to 100 different feathered friends. Full of endless funny details, silly scenarios, and a rare bird to spot, this is a book to read again and again. The ending had me smiling, that is such a fun way to end a day of work and I loved seeing the Diggersaurs go home to sleep so they would be ready for a new day.

The space between is the jungle. The kids need to run to the other side of the jungle without getting caught. Last one standing is the winner! Love this book. Excited to keep developing the actions with the children into a music and movement session. Less ambitious than Chris Gall’s widely known Dinotrux (2009) and sequels, this British import systematically relegates each dinosaur/construction-equipment hybrid to its most logical job. On the way to nursery Casper is often looking out for where the next Diggersaur may be hiding. He likes to make the noises and make me guess which Diggersaur he is - so I am fast being able to distinguish my CHOMPS from my NOM-NOMS!” Lots of sweet companies make bags of dinosaur jelly sweets. Buy some big bags and divide the sweets up between your party bags so each child gets three or four.

Diggersaurs is currently one of Casper’s favourite books - combining dinosaurs with diggers was definitely a winning combination!

Have read this one a lot to my preschoolers (3-5 years) and each time we read it we add more actions and sound effects to the retelling. It has almost become a movement session in its own right!Dogs- Winner: Sainsbury's Children's Book Awards- Best Picture Book and Children's Book of the Year!
