About this deal

I just found out yesterday that I’m going to be attending North Hampton Hills International Academy for one week as part of a student exchange program! Okay, I read this book in one sitting, and okay, the experience was actually still fun. But there were, of course, moments I just found too good to be true. I also really thought it annoying that Nikki was iffy about almost everything. One time she'd complain about her friends, and the next she'd be all like, "I have the best friends EVER!" Nikki is still worried about attending NHH for the program and a little groggy due to her pet dog, Daisy for keeping her up all night. She plans to get Mrs. Peach to let her assist in the library the whole week, but Principal Winston informs the whole school that those who do not attend will not be able to pass eighth grade. Nikki doesn't want to go to summer school and has to choose between it and the program.

The setting adds to the conflict because Nikki gets sabotaged multiple times and this has a large impact on the benefits Nikki gets while she is an exchange student. It also influences how people see her. The author's word choice does a good job at making the form of writing seem less mature and more like a younger person. It fits with the concept of the book. Everyone in Nikki's school (W.H.S) West Chester High go to a different school, while Nikki goes to N.H.H North Hampton Hills where her arch enemy Makenzie Hollister goes to school. Nikki and her friends Chloe, Zoey, and Brandon... Brandon is Nikki's crush they really like each other. Her friends and Brandon go to the school that Max Crumbly go to. Meanwhile Nikki is dreading N.H.H! Anyways I felt like I was like the camera recording the new Makenzie Hollister...shhhh! I would recommend this book to someone that like books with lots of DRAMA! I would like to tell you more, but I can't read the book to find out what will happen next! HAPPY READING! Many of the events in the book are based on the experiences I and my daughters had in middle school. One of the World Book Day 2015 Authors Rachel Renee Russell is a lawyer who prefers writing children's books to legal briefs. She lives in Aldie, Virginia. Armistice Day: A Collection of Remembrance - Spark Interest and Educate Children about Historical MomentsHe reminded us that instead of being graded on class assignments, students will receive one credit for successfully completing the program. Any student failing to do so will end up one credit short for completing eighth grade and NOT be promoted to ninth grade! I have two daughters. My younger daughter, Nikki, helps with illustrations. I am also looking forward to adopting 3 children in the near future. I LOVE her SO much that I’m thinking about making a new designer fragrance for teens called… PUPPY BREATH!! Chloe and Zoey come over to see how Nikki's doing. Nikki tells them about the nightmare she has been having the whole week and decides that tomorrow will be her last day at NHH. Nikki gets a passing grade on her french report on the Louvre. Her teacher, Monsieur Dupont, wants to talk to her in private after class. At that time, he tells her that there's an honors French program this summer and he selects Nikki to be one of the candidates for the program. Nikki, excited about the news, accepts the offer. What's more, NHH's foreign languages department is sponsoring the program, so Dupont can get her in touch with the department to set up a meeting with their head French teacher when Nikki attends that week. Nikki is so excited about the possibility of going to Paris, and things are starting to look up for her and her week at NHH.

I have read each and every one of Rachel Renee Russell's book aka Dork diaries and Author of the new and upcoming series... The Misadventures of Max Crumbly! I am looking forward to reading her Max Crumbly series!Anyway, I was so stressed out about having to attend North Hampton Hills that I barely got any sleep last night. I wish it were a REAL foreign exchange student program for some faraway, exotic place, like maybe… Paris, France!

Don’t miss out! I LOVE PARIS, the brand new DORK DIARIES, is out now! Have you read all the DORK DIARIES series? I just got to school a few minutes ago, and the eighth-grade students are already buzzing about Student Exchange Week. As if all of that news wasn’t BAD enough, he said the credit would have to be made up by attending SUMMER SCHOOL!Dealing with MaKenzie and Tiffany does sound really hard. They are both super mean! Nikki I wish I could help you with your not so fabulous life but I’m afraid I’m not magic and can magically go into a book like they do in the movies. Sorry! Read more It was fine, but the originals in the series were much better, well-developed, and LONGER...I got through this in 30 minutes and nothing happened. These used to have a plot and full story that I really enjoyed!! Kinda sad, because I really liked these books and they are going downhill.

Ingeniously irreverent, this series is spot-on for a huge spectrum of tween readers, and I love the author’s flair for peppering the main narrative with amusing interludes, a gem from this book being the episode in which Nikki turns herself into “a mutant blueberry” with her homemade face cream. competitions, news and photos!
