About this deal

Hi Cassandra – thanks for your comment! You’re entered in the giveaway contest. Just a little food for thought – if you write something down you’re 33% more likely to do it. So maybe you should start writing things down again 🙂 Let me know if you do find a digital version of Dot Journaling though. Reply The A5 MEDIUM notebooks are the perfect size with a wide range of colors making them ideal companions for all walks of life — this notebook series is perfect for midnight ramblings, daily entries,... The versatility of a dotted journal means you can easily create charts and graphics to record progress over time, and they’ll look neater and cleaner than they might on ruled or blank paper. Use the dots to form the basis of a bar chart, so you can fill in squares to represent your spending each month, or your progress through a book you’re reading. Are you a planner girl? A list writer? A journalista? I am all the above but when I saw the dot journal movement start up a few years ago, I kind of rolled my eyes. I felt like I wasn’t the type to start a dot journal. I mean, I LOVE to create and make things so you would think that creating layouts for my planner would be super fun.

In a pre-printed planner, you can easily flip six months ahead and jot down an appointment. With a bullet journal, you don’t have that ability. So how do you plan far ahead without setting up spreads months in advance? The future log is the solution! They come in vibrant color sets of 10 pens or a full set that contains 96 colors. Proportionately, buying the full set is more advantageous if you have the budget because the price per pen is lower. Also, if you collect set by set, you will end up with repeated colors and many blending brushes. I love dot/bullet journaling but I also love my Happy Planner Mini. I keep going between the two but I’d love to get away from buying planner stuff and get better with dot/bullet journaling. This book looks awesome! In fact, I haven’t found pastel color range highlighters anywhere else. The Stabilo boss has some but limited to 6 colors. The only caveat with the mildliners is that you really need to paper-test them because they will bleed through some paper. Wondering where and what supplies to buy to start bullet journaling right now? Read on to find the ultimate guide to the bestbullet journal supplies to buy!Rhodia Dot Grip Notebook has an excellent quality of the paper, but the dots are a bit darker when compared to the other journals. So if having darker dots isn’t your concern, then you can happily choose the Rhodia Dot Grip Notebook. If you want to learn how to set up a bullet journal, you need to read my comprehensive guide to bullet journal setup. I’ll teach you how to start your first bujo spread in just 5 simple steps.

Write the less than symbol (<) over the bullet to show that that task has been scheduled, and write the greater than symbol over it (>) to show that the task has been "migrated" — AKA you didn't finish it today/this week/this month, so you moved it to another day/week/month's list. This sounds perfect for me and my 2 teen daughters to do for our crazy lives. We will definitely be trying to use this method this year. I love your blog and all the helpful organizational tips you share. Hey Ana! That is a fantastic question. Personally, I keep my personal stuff and my work stuff separate (with a little bit of crossover between the two). For example, I’ll add some kind of social event to my work calendar so I know not to work too late that day, or I’ll mark important work deadlines on my personal calendar so I don’t forget and let it sneak up on me. I have so many planners, journals, scraps,of paper, calendars… The list is humongous!!! You’d think, at my age (59 3/4!) I would have figured it out!! I was always certain I needed different books for each thing/adventure/list…. well I’m sure you get it. Here are some bullet journal spreads that you can add to your notebook to keep tabs on the stuff you love:There is no “right” way to do this. This system is designed to be completely adaptable to each unique user. There is no such thing as being too minimalist, too colorful, too fancy, too rough, too ANYTHING. I waited forever to buy these because I thought they would just be standard highlighters. They are anything but standard. The pens are dual tip, creamy to write with, and provide some unique and stunning colors. Since I’ve gotten these, I’ve been finding every excuse to use them because they are just too amazing. If you’re a student or you take frequent notes, I can’t stress enough how much you’ll love these. Choose any kind of notebook to serve as your bullet journal. It doesn’t need to be fancy or divided into sections, since you’ll be organizing the journal on your own.
